Great Purchase

I wanted a coat that was a bit more versatile and would keep me warm but also be cute enough to wear out with friends. This coat does all that. I'm 5'2", 115 lbs and I bought an XS. It's fitted enough that I don't feel like I'm swimming but still allows for good range of motion. I do wish the hood was removable and the side pockets are positioned awkwardly but other than that I'm very satisfied.

I love this coat. It is cute and VERY warm. Unfortunately, the black color fabric attracts lint and hair and due to the type of fabric, it is difficult to remove this stuff, even with a lint roller. Other than that, it's near perfect!

I've been searching high and low for this coat

It doesn't get any better than this coat. I have been looking forever for a super durable, warm, and fashionable coat like this and have found it at last. I live in a climate where you don't leave home without a coat, but I need to go places where I can't look like I'm going out for a hike. This coat is the perfect mix of fashion and function. And I am a "no fuss, no muss" person. I don't want looks without function and this coat has it all. I am going to buy one more to put on the shelf. I don't want to have to look for ages again for such perfection. And I'm buying one for my daughter who also lives in a climate and city where you need to be warm and look good, too. Thank you Merrell and Altrec!

Nice Coat

My husband bought this for me and it was a nice gift. The coat is very warm and is attractive with a sporty look. I would have chose a different color as this is a cream color and may get dirty easily. The coat is a bit stiff to wear but has wonderful big pockets and a nice lining.

Almost a great coat

I got this coat as a Christmas gift for my wife. She loves the look of it and it is very warm. The first minor problem is that the sleeves are a little short. The coat itself fits well, it's just the sleeves. The bigger problem is the zipper. It is very difficult to get started. Sometimes it is bad enough that she gets tired of messing with it and just goes out with the coat unzipped. I'm not sure if this is a problem with this coat, or if she just got a bad zipper, but I can't find any defect that leads me to believe it is a faulty zipper.
