They changed the fit

I bought the same size and same model I bought 2 years ago. Unfortunately they have changed the fit. The new shoes are uncomfortable at the heel just below the ankle as Merrell has added some weird padding... I would have developped a blister had I continued to wear them... Also the toe box is a bit narrower. So I sent them back to Altrec.

I have been wearing Jungle Mocs for 6 years. I am on my feet on a concrete floor for up to 10 hours a day and my feet never hurt. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I bought my wife a pair and she thinks they are wonderful.

I bought these for a trip to Europe and was not disappointed as I walked everywhere and my feet were so comfortable. Sometimes after all day of walking they were tired, but never sore like the previous year. Waterproof was a plus when it rained and my feet stayed dry. I ended up loving these so much that I wear them all the time at home for comfort on the go. I'll get these again when this pair wears out.

In my experience there are very few walking shoes that could ever possibly equal the Merrell Jungle Moc!! These are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn and I will be ordering them again. Perfect for shopping, working inside or outside. This is one shoe that you WON"T kick off and say oh my aching feet!!!!

I'm about to buy my second pair... after 4 years!! My husband has a pair that is about 6 years old. Definitely our favorite shoes!! Obviously we don't wear them everyday, but they wear wonderfully!

Look & feel great. The only nit-pic is the elastic around the shoe opening got a little wider than I would like.

I bought my first pair five years ago. They lasted about two years and I wore them out. I overpronate severely and the wear on the shoe was on the inside only! That's how great the stability of this shoe is. They were lovingly referred to as my "ugly shoes" (they only came in charcoal grey), but comfort overtook fashion every time. I'm glad to see Merrell has added some good looks to their shoes. I didn't replace them because of the cost. Dumb, dumb. These shoes would have paid for themselves by now with the money I wasted on lesser shoes (and look-alikes). Buy them. Now. They're worth every cent. Oh, and for what it's worth, the price is the same as it was five years ago!! Not bad.

After a hard day at work, slipping into these Merrell's is one easy task! Not only are they comfortable, but they look great too. This purchase is well worth the money spent.

Boots notwithstanding, the best shoe I ever owned.

I found one paid of black jungle mocs at a discount mall north of Denton, Texas more than 2 years ago. The store couldn't sell the shoes, and, consequently, I paid $25 for them. I am wearing them as I write this review. They are the best supporting shoe, as I said earlier boots notwithstanding, I have ever owned. I have been looking for at least 2 new pairs of jungle mocs at a price I can afford for close to 1 full year.
