I did all the research on this boot, and ones similar by Ecco, and the likes. This boot is SO comfortable, I can wear it all day long. The "special ergo fit insoles" (read inserts sent with boot about contruction), cushion my feet; feels as though I'm wearing a boot specifically moulded for my foot. This boot is also quite stylish, and a little avant guard. As a former fashion designer, style is something I also look for. I am very happy with this purchase, and will now look into Merrell shoes, for style and comfort. Thanx to Altrec also, for the significant price reduction on this boot, when everyone else was selling it for $199.99

I recently purchased these boots and wore them for the first time in a big Chicago snowstorm - they passed the test - my feet stayed dry and warm. The big plus is they are "waterproof" for our messy winters(slush/snow). They are very practical but stylish at the same time!

These boots are amazing. I moved to Chicago where supposedly winter here translates to constant snow. I searched high and low for a flat, waterproof and stylish boot to wear out in heavy snow, and these boots definitely will fit the bill for the upcoming winter.

These are the perfect boots to wear with jeans or a skirt in dry or wet weather (the waterproof kind can easily walk through puddles without leaking)! I always get compliments on them wherever I wear them! Even though they are the most expensive pair of shoes I own, I have contemplated buying a second pair for down the line because I will REALLY miss these boots when they are worn out!

They are more casual looking than I thought and a little wider in the ankle than I'd like, but I still love them! Would definitely recommend them. (PS: I had to remove tags on inside of boots as tags were really irritating my leg.)

My feet are always cold so I wanted a boot for warmth but didn't want a foo foo boot or a clod hopper. This boot is stylish and sensible. It's funky, like wearing golishes (SP) but with a stylish edge. They are warm and good in the rain
