Great Shoes
February 14, 2011
I love the color, fit, and styling of these Merrell shoes. They are also nice and lightweight. I would just recommend to buy a 1/2 size larger than usual. I've been wearing Merrell shoes for many years, size 8.5. But for these I needed a size 9.
Pros: Great design, PerformanceMerrell is the best!
April 27, 2011
I am now a loyal Merrell shoe owner. These are my second pair of Merrells and I wont buy anything else now. I have back pain issues and with these shoes, I no longer have problems! Now I am happy that I can take to the trails with no problems. The fit is perfect, I have narrow feet and they fit great! Fit true to size and have kept my feet warm and dry on wet, rainy days! I love the color too, they get me in the mood to start our camping season!! Thanks Merrell!
Pros: fit narrow feet perfectly, Cons: nothing so far!Perfect Cross Trainer
March 20, 2012
I love these shoes! This is the second pair I bought because I have enjoyed them so much. They are very comfortable and light weight. I walk quite a bit on asphalt and sidewalks, but also hike in very hilly and mountainous areas where there is water and rocks and these shoes work in all terrains. I've let go of my sturdy Lowas in favor of these because I feel lighter on my feet and am more balanced. They fit my foot perfectly and are so easy to travel with because of their ultra lightness -- no overweight bags for me! This last time I bought them in black so if I am traveling they don't stand out so much as a athletic or hiking shoe. They work for shopping too!
I love my Merrells
June 26, 2007
This is my third pair of Merrells and I just love them. The fit is great, the light weight of the Siren Sport shoe is just perfect.
Great Trail Running Shoe!
October 25, 2011
I have to admit it took two weeks to really wear these in, however, since then I have taken them out for two separate 5 KM+ runs and it made such a difference. They are extremely light and well ventilated!
Pros: light and great breathability, Cons: not the best shoe for those with wider feetLove Merrell shoes
July 03, 2011
I love the Merrell Siren shoes for their comfort and good traction. These shoes keep me cool and support my feet very well... and never get tired. Great shoes!
Pros: comfortable, good tractionAwesome "everything" shoes!
June 15, 2011
I LOVE these shoes! I wanted something comfortable, that I could wear for pretty much anything, including light hiking, tennis, walking, or just running errands all day. These completely fit the bill. Super comfy, and very stylish. Love the color combinations! Highly recommended.
Pros: great for a wider footgreat

wonderful shoe. My feet, ankles and knees feel so supported. Best shoe I have worn in a long time
Very comfortable!
February 25, 2012
These shoes are extremely comfortable. They are light and have no areas that rub. I run on pavement and grassy paths and they work great. I got the grey/purple color and I love them.
Pros: comfortable, lightDid you recently buy the Merrell Siren 2 Sport Hiking Shoes? Write a review.
excellent fit and comfort
July 03, 2008
This is the first pair of shoes I can wear all day without foot fatigue. I walk every day for an hour with my dog and these provide superb fit and cushion even when running. Highly recommended!
So far, excellent
February 09, 2009
Bought these to wear as my everything shoe for an upcoming trip - want them to wear for everyday treks through city streets and for hiking and thought I should test them out and break them in, in advance. So far, they are exceedingly comfortable. I do have a rather wide instep, and I notice that there is just a little rubbing on the outside of my foot from the place where the strapping that keeps the laces in place is stitched. It is the only location on the whole of the shoe where there is a seam on the inside, and it is thin, but I have to keep the lacing at that point very loose to avoid rubbing. But otherwise this is the first shoe I have ever purchased that felt this good out of the box. They are very light-weight, have a great sole and they do as they claim by compensating for natural pronation.
Awesome!
October 08, 2009
This is my third pair of this particular model of shoes by Merrell. I wear them every day walking/running my dogs. In my opinion Merrell makes the best shoes for my feet. I just love them and hope they become a classic and they never stop making them. They fit great, are light but sturdy, and well made. I've gotten them soaking wet, and they dry and you would never know it.
Love these shoes
March 02, 2010
This is my third pair of Merrell's from Altrec and I love them as much as the first pair I bought. Great support for my bad back.
great fit, great shoe
May 20, 2011
Got a pair of these a couple weeks ago to do some light hiking and walking. They're super comfortable and true to size -- I'd definitely recommend these!
Pros: true to size, comfortable, good supportWearing these every day!
November 21, 2011
The Merrell Siren Sport is so very comfortable! They are light-weight but also sturdy. I have been wearing them around the house, in the yard while doing fall yard clean-up, and on trail walks. The shoes are flexible enough to be comfortable around the house but also tough enough to provide support while walking trails with roots and rocks. I'll be buying another pair in a new color!
Pros: comfort, durabilityComfortable on first try!
June 11, 2011
I bought these shoes for my upcoming trip to Ireland. Thought I would need to break them in a bit, but they were very comfortable the first time I wore them. I did buy a half size larger than I normally wear.
Pros: good arch supportDid you recently buy the Merrell Siren 2 Sport Hiking Shoes? Write a review.
My first Merrell shoe
April 28, 2009
Several of my friends have Merrell's and they recommended I try a pair. I love them!! They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I will purchase many more pairs in the future.
Love this shoe
November 04, 2011
For years I wore the Merrell Siren Ventilator until they were discontinued. Just ordered the Siren Sport Cross Training shoe. The fit and comfort are just like the Siren Ventilator. I am thrilled I finally found a pair of shoes to replace my old favorites.

Still my favorite shoe
June 29, 2012
I got my first pair of Merrell Siren Sport shoes in the summer of 2008, and after four years of heavy use, the time came to replace them. Love the variety of colors available. I've found that these shoes run a little small; I usually wear a 9.5 or even a 10 in some other brands, but find that a 9 is more comfortable for the Siren Sport. Yes, it's a teeny bit snug, but from experience I know the shoe will soften up with use until it feels like it was custom-made for my feet. They must have changed the material for the shoelaces because they feel much more secure than the ones on my old shoes. I love that there's still virtually no "break-in" needed for these shoes; I wore them for a full day right out of the box, with no blisters.
Excellent shoe for hiking
September 30, 2012
I love this shoe so much that a bought a second pair about a month later! I have a wide foot and have trouble finding good shoes, or boots , that will not give me blisters on a long hike. I am an advid hiker. We hike in the Smokey Mtns. I wore the Merrell siren cross-training shoe on our first long hike of the season! It was a 3000 ft elevation and about 7 hrs of hiking! This shoe was so comfortable I could not believe it. It also has great support for rocky terrain. They are also stylish enough to wear around town.

Excellent for walking & jogging...
June 23, 2011
First 2 weeks of use in a variety of terrains show they're better for walking and jogging on the beach, in the gym, paved surfaces and running tracks. Hiking or jogging on rugged hiking trails is okay but not the best use for them. Not tough enough. But with cross-trainers there's always a compromise. I bought them for jogging/running on the tracks or the beach, so they serve their purpose just fine. Too short to say how durable they will be but my other Merrells have done well in this department.
Fantastic shoe!
March 30, 2010
I've worn these around a little so far, but I love how light weight they are. The tread seems really good. I bought them to do some light hiking in Costa rica, but have worn them to play indoor volleyball and for some long walks as well. There is only one sore spot on the outside of my little toe so far, but i'm still breaking them in. I like that they seem like they will dry quickly and pack light.
Great!
April 10, 2010
Love these shoes! They are very comfortable and supportive. They look like they will hold up well. They are lightweight and fit true to size.
Excellent for all activities
November 12, 2009
These are great shoes for all my sports, jogging included. They run true to size, offer good support, and a bonus too...they are comfortable! My feet stay dry and cool which isn't usually the case down here in Florida. Ordering another pair today!
Women's Siren 2 Sport Hiking Shoes
December 09, 2012
My girlfriend just got a pair of Merrell's--we've gone hiking around the flats and rolling hills off the Chattahoochee river in Atlanta. She tells me that the fit and feel are great. Glad I purchased this pair for her.
Pros: style, fit, comfort, hikingFinally a good pair to run anywhere
August 06, 2008
Occasionally I run in asphalt, and these babies run by themselves, no impact on heels or aching knees. The women-specific Q-form sole makes them an asset.
My single most favorite shoes...ever!!
December 09, 2009
Merrell makes great shoes...So many people say it because it is true. I have two pairs in rotation at any given time (one pair at the front door & one at the back) for running everyday errands and walking my husky--who thinks 40 minutes is a short walk. They are comfortable beyond belief (your foot feels supported and cradled) and durable (I recently had to replace a pair after 13 months of nonstop wear because I actually wore the luggy sole down...I wasn't kidding when I said I walk alot). I can't think of any shoes that last nearly as long, feel as comfortable, or look as sporty. The only downside to buying a pair of these shoes is deciding what color combo to get.
Look great!
May 25, 2007
I haven't had much experience in them, but the 15 miles or so that I've put into them, I'm enjoying every minute of it. The heel is what makes it or breaks it for me... it's really comfortable and fits tight. No blisters and no movement make this a very exciting shoe for me.

Great Shoe
June 07, 2011
So far I have worn this shoe for general every day wear and cement trail walking. My goal is to try it out for hiking purposes. I was afarid I was going to have to break them in, but they have been very comfortable from day one. The shoe size is accurate and I did not need to get 1/2 size larger than normal. I love the way they look and feel. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

looking good
August 16, 2011
these are ideal for hiking and walking and are so cute and make my feet look smaller then they are! they were comfortable from beginning. I am a size 9 for most shoes and these fit me in a size 9.5 with enough space for thick socks.
Fabulous all-around shoe!
May 31, 2010
This is one of my favorite shoes... comfortable, walk my dog in them, but also look good enough to wear around town. I love how light-weight they are. Merrell's rock!
Merrell Shoe
May 31, 2009
These are great shoes. Very comfortable and stylish. The only problem I have is that they seem to run a bit large. I am returning them for a half size smaller. I plan to wear these shoes to Costa Rica on my honeymoon.
Merrill lady's "crosstrainers" (Siren Sport)
November 10, 2010
These shoes look great. Unfortunately they are extremely stiff-soled, like a hiking boot. Additionally there is little to no arch support. Why? Also, they run large, which should be made clear. For the price, these problems should not exist.

Third pair
February 28, 2011
I love these shoes and am now on my third pair. I wear them out to dinner and on walks and shorter hikes. They are my most versatile travel shoes, and come with me on every trip. This is a very comfortable shoe! The down side? After about a year of use, the sole starts getting slick and I need a new pair.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Wears quicklyThese are the Best!
October 24, 2007
These are the most comfortable, best fitting shoes I have ever worn. My daughter, who is very hard to fit, tried these on and has finally found a shoe she can wear for long periods of time without discomfort
Great Shoes
May 10, 2011
I shopped hard both online and in stores to find the best pair of shoes that would fit all of my needs (comfort, durability, design, support, color, price) and ended up with these. They are a great light technical shoe that is also versatile. I'm taking these on an overseas trip where I dont want to pack both athletic and hiking shoes - I want something that will do double duty and I can wear both walking long days and also take on trails. These seem to have great support as well as thoughtful technical details in the soles which are made for a womans foot/walking pattern. I also think they look attractive for a woman and dont scream 'outdoorsy', when thats not what I'm using them for ... they will look good with jeans running around town. I bought the black - it is hard to find a pair of shoes like this that will match my black yoga pants. These satisfy everything I was looking for and I know I'll have them for a long time - plus they're comfortable.

First Pair of Merrell's
April 02, 2011
This was my first purchase of Merrell shoes, but definitely not my last! I had heard about these shoes for a long time, but didn't really believe how comfy people said they were. Well, much to my surprise, those people were right! No breaking in time, I have already walked miles in them and used them at the gym. I simply love them. I also love the black and plum colors. I ordered a half size up (usually wear an 8.5) because I wanted to be able to wear semi-thick hiking socks with them. They are perfect!
Pros: comfortable, cuteLove them
August 10, 2011
I just purchased these Merrell's and love them. I wanted a trail shoe that could handle some different types of terrain. We just hiked Cadillac Mountain in Maine and they were comfortable with the first wear. I would recommend what other reviewer's suggested and that is to go a 1/2 size bigger. I am a pretty true 7 1/2 size shoe and feel that the 8's are a perfect fit w/hiking socks. Love the look of them too! Also, just to add that the customer service was wonderful. I was called a day after I placed my order to ensure that I had been the one to order the shoes. I placed my order in one state, but had them shipped to Massachusetts. They just wanted to verify that this was correct. Very nice to know that Altrec takes your security into account. I also let the customer service rep know that i was hoping to have my shoes by a certain date and she said she would make sure that they were shipped the next day.

Super comfortable, durable
April 04, 2010
I had Merrell's Siren Sport Cross-Training shoes previously, and, due to an unfortunate accident not at all the shoes' fault, I've had to replace them. I knew I wanted the same shoes as they are very comfortable and also durable (I had my last pair for a year and a half and they were still in great condition). They are great for casual walking as well as hiking or running. I love them!
Great Shoe
April 01, 2013
I wear Merrell Sandals that I love, this is the first pair of Merrell shoes that I have bought. First day I wore the Siren 2 Sport I wore the shoe to work and then out in the evening. After 10 hours my feet felt great, with no pain, blisters or other problems. I am a size 8 ½ and the shoe makes my feet look small nice bonus.
Cross Trainer
September 10, 2008
This Merrell cross trainer is unbelievably confortable. I have a high arch and I need wiggly room for my toes and this shoe gives me both. I love them and have received many compliments. Love this shoe!
Great Investment!
October 26, 2010
I was looking for good support in a cross training/easy hiking shoe and found it in the Siren Sport!! I've had Merrell shoes and boots in the past and have always been happy with their fit and performance. I usually wear a size 10 and these shoes run true to size. The toe box is roomy without being wide and sloppy. I ordered this particular shoe for the color. The "new" colors didn't do much for me. Yep. I am a happy camper on this one!!!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, great fit!December 30, 2010
Fits like a glove and are so comfortable. You can walk in these shoes and get so much support and they are so durable.
Really Great Shoe except for one thing
July 23, 2009
I have 4 pairs of these. I have narrow feet and wear orthotics. I wear them all the time and for walking, hiking, trail running...... The only thing is that the heel wears out way too fast. It is supposed to be a vibram sole, but there seems to be a different material right at the heel where you wear it out the most. I do recommend the shoes. Just put shoe goo on the heel.

Very comfortable shoes
October 26, 2009
I don't like my feet to get hot while I walk trails and these shoes keep my feet comfortably cool while also giving me excellent traction/footing. They're comfortable right out of the box with no break-in time. An added bonus is that they are also attractive! (I purchased them in espresso.)
quality shoe with comfort
April 16, 2010
I am moving to the mountains from the coast and wanted a tough tennis shoe that could take both terrains and not get too hot. Great quality & good looking. I am used to chacos and keens so there was a bit of an adjustment with the feel of the shoe bed. I always buy a new pair of cushion insoles for every pair of shoes I buy 'cuz I'm on my feet so much. This helped the general feel when wearing them. At first had a bit of a rolling, side to side feel, but after getting used to them, that seemed to go away. I have worn them in very wet weather and they seem to dry out very quickly. Seem tough enough for what I put them through and would highly recommend them.
a little puffier than I expected
August 25, 2009
Overall very comfy--like a sneaker combined with a hiking shoe. I like them overall.
Best all-around sneaks I own
November 11, 2010
This is my third pair of Siren Sport cross-trainers. I keep on pair for the gym, a pair for walking and the oldest pair have become yard shoes. The shoe supports your arches without feeling like there's a lump in your shoe. Footbed is very stable; I never feel like my feet are sliding around inside the shoe. I do think they run a little small. I normally wear a 10 but wear a 10.5 in this style. Every once in a while I try on a new pair of cross-trainers, but nothing fits as comfortably as the siren sport.
Pros: Great valueFantastic shoe!
April 21, 2009
These are seriously the most comfortable, high-quality shoes I have ever worn. I wore them on a month-long trip across Europe in January-February and they performed wonderfully. We walked on average 8 miles a day, and they were comfortable, supportive, tractioned, and water resistant every step of the way. Great roomy toe box, yet snug enough to fit my narrow feet. I've worn them nonstop since January and they show no wear. I'll never go back to regular sneakers.
Great shoe!
June 15, 2011
I purchased the Siren Sport back in February 2011. I had the same shoe that I wore nearly everyday (to school, running errands, hiking) and they were getting old/worn out, so I got another pair that I now wear everyday as well. They are comfortable and I'd highly recommend them!
perfect light hiker

February 16, 2009
I have been wearing merrell shoes for 3 years as I have a high arch and it fits me best.
Plan on buying more pairs
June 25, 2008
Most comfortable running shoe I've ever owned. All I had to do was put them on and start running. No blisters, my feet aren't sore and they didn't need any breaking in. My first pair of Merrells, and I definitely will buy another pair.

Great Work Shoe
October 07, 2009
I'm a veterinarian stringing together 10-12 hr days on my feet. Since I purchased these shoes my legs and feet have been comfy and pain free. As an added bonus, the shoes are cute and coordinate with almost any scrub color. I will definitely purchase again...if they ever wear out!
Lightest, toughest hiking shoes ever!
March 10, 2011
I just purchased these hiking shoes for an upcoming trip to Ireland. We'll be doing quite a bit of walking and hiking (since we'll be spending most time in the Dingle Peninsula) and I wanted something "hiking" worthy yet in-town "walking" worthy. These are a perfect mix. The Vibrum sole meets the hiking requirement and the VERY lightweight of them meets the walking requirement. They're not heavy and tough like hiking boots yet can do the job. As far as the color, I bought the black/plum ones and love them with black pants or jeans. They look and feel great. Once again - a great pair of Merrells in my closet. As for the size, I followed everyone's advice and bought a pair 1/2 size bigger than I usually do (I'm an 8 1/2 and bought a 9) since I may be wearing thicker socks with them. The laces are great and you can make them as tight as necessary if you're NOT wearing the thicker socks. Great shoes. Can't wait to wear them in Ireland!
Merrell Shoes for women
May 21, 2009
I love my Merrell shoes. I work in a hospital and I could not make it without them. I noticed the doctor's would wear them. I use to wear Reebok walkers but after four years of Merrell's there's no going back. I'm 52 years old. I love the stability and fit, not to mention the durability. Keep up the quality.

August 24, 2008
These are the best athletic shoes I've ever owned. They are cute and comfortable. Once you try these, you'll be hooked! I try on other shoes, but I always end up buying Merrells because nothing's better! With these, I got 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear.

Very comfortable shoes. And they look good. Can handle a rugged hike or just walking the dogs. The fit is true to size.
Super Shoes
March 16, 2010
I bought these last year, 3 pairs no less, and they have been great for my bad feet, tricky knee and lower back too. The support is great! I got new orthotics recently and find that I need 1/2 size larger - so am buying new pair or two. So glad I found them!
