Absolute Comfort!
I purchased these shoes as a Christmas present for my Mom because she's on her feet all day and she needed a comfortable shoe. She absolutely loved the style and most of all the comfort. It's hard for her to find shoes in a 9 wide that are actually stylish AND comfortable. With this shoe she didn't have to sacifice style for comfort or vice versa.

narrow shoe
The shoe size was good, but the toe area was too narrow for my foot. I don't normally need a wide shoe. I was looking forward to trying them out, but sadly returned them since they felt snug in the toe/ball of the foot.

Great running shoe for adverse weather and snow.
I have 2 pair of these shoes and they are great. During a recent ice storm I was able to run every day because of the Vibram sole. The traction was amazing. This is the shoe for runners who want to get out in rain, snow or slippery weather. It is waterproof also.
It is also a great day walker/hiking shoe.

Good travel shoe
I bought this shoe for international travel - extremely light, good for hiking, could be used for running and workout but doesn't get dirty like white running shoes. This is my second pair , first pair could have lasted longer, but they weren't gtx so it was worth it to me to upgrade. They look very cute and fit well, but the tongue on one foot is folded over/ uncomfortable, I hope it breaks in.

Excellent Hiking Shoe
Excellent hiking shoe - provides the support and wear you need whether hiking the trail or just outiside on the weekends. Having the availability of sizing in a wide is added bonus. I expect to wear these shoes for many years.

The perfect shoe for me.
I have a very narrow very long (size 10 to 10 1/2) foot. In most athletic shoes I end up having to settle for a shoe that's long enough but have to wear padded socks to fill up the width and it is not comfortable. I also have one additional challenge and that is pronating. These shoes fit me perfectly. When I read the reaviews that people were complaining about the shoe being too narrow, I just wanted to scream. All of you have wide shoes out there already. I was having to buy New Balance and Asics with the rollbar to stabilize the pronation of my foot, but again they only come in medium width which is too wide for me. The Siren XCR shoes are outstanding which is why I am visiting this site. I plan on purchasing another pair. One to walk/run around my ranch (which is very rocky) and the other to wear out and about. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE THE WIDTH!!

i've been buying merrell's for years...20 at least! unfortunately, i do feel their quality has gone downhill some and i may finally say goodbye to them. these shoes look fine, and they are goretex which is a plus. i do find they run narrow for a merrell. this was the first pair that i have bought in a wide fitting and it was a good move. i am returning them because they are not that comfortable. they are quite high around the ankle and that makes them painful. they may ease with wearing, but i don't want to risk it.

Wonderful shoe!
I love Merrell and this shoe is another wonderful shoe. I have worn it few times since I received it. Today, I wore it for walking in rain and wind. My feet was very warm, breathable and dry with Gore-Tex. I love it so much and know I will use it alot this fall and winter.

Very comfortable shoe to hike in!
The Merrell Siren XCR's are excellent pair of shoes, I purchased this pair of shoes for a resent trip to Yellowstone were a good pair of waterproof shoes is a necessity, as the weather this time of the year is very wet. The Gore-Tex in these shoes kept my feet dry even in the worst of conditions. I do want to add that this is my second pair of the Siren XCR's and I just love them. The only thing I would advise is that they run a little on the narrow side so if you have a wider foot be sure to order the shoe in a wide.

Wonderful and stylish shoe for travel and trail
I bought this shoe for a 3 week trip through Germany and absolutely loved it! It kept my feet dry and comfy and looking good. The color combinations are great and they don't look like a hiker, but they function like one. They were also comfy when hiking on the AT...one of the best shoes I have ever owned. Also, they are true to fit with every other pair of Merrell's I have owned, and I have many!

Great waterproof shoe
Bought this item for my wife and this is her second pair of Merrell Siren XCRs. I turned her onto Merrell and specifically the waterproofed XCR from my own experience with the men's line. She loves the fit, style and comfort of these shoes. Having been through snow, slush and heavy rain both my wife's and my own feet stay perfectly dry while our friends and family complain about wet shoes. We will continue to by Gore-Tex XCR shoes, and Merrell shoes in particular, for future purchases.

mom loves them too
my mom never wears supportive shoes until now. I introduced her to these and she really likes them. Now she wears her clothes around her merrell's. Instead of her shoes to match her clothes.

Satisfied again!
I own countless pairs of Merrell shoes. These do not disappoint. I use these for walking and hiking as they are lightweight and have great arch support. Runs small, I had to order up 1/2 size.

Another great Merrell shoe!
Merrell never disappoints and this shoe is no exception. I got the gray color which is very nice with blue accents - goes with everything - not too earthy. I normally wear a size 9 and got this shoe in 9.5 (after trying it on in a store!) so I guess I'd have to say it runs a tiny bit small. Over all a very comfortable shoe for just about anything, namely walking and hiking. I use them to walk my dog. In my neighborhood the roads are paved but steep and twisty with several opportunities for "off roading" and these are perfect. I also use them with jeans on a rainy day - also perfect.

Good solid shoes
Lightweight, but really supportive. I plan on doing some ultralight backpacking in them, and I think they'll be perfect. They look great. I used an aftermarket insole and really improved the arch support.

Very comfortable
I own other pairs of Merrell shoes and these are very comfortable, probably my favorite pair. I wear a 8.5 and ordered a 8.5 and they fit perfectly. A great quality all around

Excellent engineering, waterproof, light, strong, good looking.
Great shoes! The engineering to suit female physique really works to throw your weight in the right place to keep you going strong. More comfortable than bare feet! And they really are waterproof. Light, good looking.

great shoe
Really comfortable out of the box. I had to size up a half-size for a comfortable fit with hiking socks. Gore-tex does its job - I walked through downpours and my feet stayed dry.
