I tried on these boots when a friend had them and I bought them the next day (in a different color of course). These are really fashionable boots that are great for casual use with jeans but can also be stylish enough to be worn out or with a skirt. They are really comfortable. I have large calves and I find that they fit pretty snug. I can't wear pants tucked into them. I wish they were a tad longer but I wouldn't change much else.

These are beautiful boots that can be worn with everything. I did not order a size up and am glad I didn't. My feet are narrow, and a size bigger would have been too big. Also, my calves are very big- I personally do not have room for both my legs and pants- but my calves are much larger than average. I can only use these with leggings or very skinny pants. I saw another woman wearing these same boots, and she was wearing regular jeans and still had plenty of room. I have always had trouble finding boots that fit me, and I was just relieved that the zipper closed. The styling with the straps on the back is very original and stylish. I don't have a lot of money to spend on clothes, but I splurged on these. I know I will get my money's worth- I have no regrets. These are Merrells, and I know I will be able to wear these for a long time- and they won't go out of style.

I love, love love these boots! They fit perfectly and are sooo comfortable, I wear them all the time. They are perfect in the rain. I highly recommend them.

I bought these boots in a 6.5 (my usual size) in both black and brown. I just got new custom orthotics, so I wasn't sure how they would work with the boots. The boots have a removable insole, so I was able to remove the insole that came with the boots to insert my orthotic. All in all, I think they are good boots. The brown pair felt slightly bigger than the black pair. My orthotics did fit perfectly in the boots. The boots are attractive, and the brown was actually not as mottled as I had thought it would be. The arch support felt good with my orthotics (it's probably good without them, too, if you don't have problem feet#. The boots are waterproof. The toe area is roomy. I returned them only because I decided that a boot that doesn't come up as high on the leg would be more comfortable for me for an every day boot #I'm very short). All in all, I would recommend these boots as a good-looking every day boot for wet or cold weather.

Bought these for my daughter and she loves them. She'll be slogging through the wet Northwest and these waterproof, comfortable and stylish boots are perfect. Great price, great service

I love these boots. They look great with jeans or skirts. I've gotten lots of compliments on the button detail. I love the durablilty and style. The only issue I have was they seem a bit loose around my calves but I have small calves to begin with so most boots are loose on me - I'm 5' 7" and weigh 135lbs. I wear 8.5 but ordered a 9 so they would be comfortable with thick wool socks and I'm glad I did. Over all I love the boots and would definately recommend them - awesome quality and worth every penny. This is my first purchase of merrell's products and definately not my last.

So close but . . . .

I love these boots. BUT . . . . for waterproof boots they have horrible traction on wet surfaces. I am trying to decide if it will be a deal breaker and I have to return them. I can't say much since I only wore them out one so far, but I was shocked at how bad the traction was. Otherwse, great leather and yes, the zipper does not go down all the way so it could be hard to get them on for some people.

If you're looking for a winter boot that is also dressy, this is a great choice. I bought these for travel in Finland, Italy, and Turkey this winter. They look nice enough to wear in all of those places, especially with the suede detail, but also have a thin Polartec lining and arrive already waterproofed (there is a slight sheen on the leather). I went up a half size - to a 10.5 - to ensure that I could fit thick, warm socks if I needed too. The zipper doesn't go all the way to the base of the boot, so it is a bit of a struggle to get your foot in. I have a high instep, though, and if I can get my feet in, I think there's a good chance yours will fit in as well. These look cute with a skirt and tights or underneath pants because they fit well around the leg and don't stick out in awkward places.

I have wanted these boots for a year now and I kept waiting for them to go on sale. They never did so I finally caved and bought them full price. They are super durable and I'm sure they will last for years. Now if only they would stay in style that long. I bought the black ones and they have a military look to them. I dig it. Totally true to size.

I purchased these boots because I was looking for something with a little style yet waterproof for the winter months. I tried them on first and they run true to size. Once I received them, I found them to be super comfortable and stylish. The only negative is they scratch very easily so I'm going to try to get them waterproofed or something because the little touch shows a scratch. Highly recommend this boot!

Just bought these boots and I love them. I've barely taken them off. I usually wear an 8 and got an 8.5 because I need to fit in new orthotics. I chose these boots because they had a removable innersole. The boots fit great with a pair of medium thick socks and my orthotics. They are really comfortable and they aren't too big around the calf. The first day I wore them, it ended up raining and my feet stayed toasty and dry.

The boots are exactly as described and are very cute. I wear a size 7 and they fit true to size. There arch support feels good and they were comfy right out of the box. However, I am going to return them because I thought I wanted a mid-calf boot but I actually want a knee high. I will probably buy another Merrell but a different style because it fit so well.

I wear an 8.5 size but they are a lil hard to get into. I feel like a size 9 may be a better fit for me, but its not planning to return them and get a bigger size, i wear them with warm socks and they work and look really good :)

I received a lot of compliments on the style of the boot. I love natural colors so this particular boot goes well with almost everything I wear. At first, the boots are a little tough to get on, but once you wear them a few times, the leather loosens enough for an easy fit. Plus, the boots are waterproof and keeps my feet dry when shoveling the mountain snow.
