This Waterpro runs fast wet or dry - a prime candidate for canyoneering as mesh upper drains automatically via ports in micro mesh upper and in antimicrobial footbed. Dynamic lacing system locks together a micro-mesh upper and supportive synthetic leather strapping. Air Cushion midsole for amphibious ventures includes Q-Form® stride alignment for women. New Vibram® Waterpro Plus™ sole has softened chevrons for land, heavy siping for wet surfaces.

I live in Texas and bought my first pair while visiting New York. I walked all over the city, it was cold and wet and my feet stayed warm and dry! The shoes are so comfortable, I feel like I'm walking on air!! I'll buy nothing but Merrell's from now on!!!

With long, narrow, very low volume feet, I have a horrible time getting comfortable shoes of any type, and this one is perfect! I stuck with my normal size because of length, and added a 3/4 footbed insert to take up the slack. Found them to be great for walking, lite hiking (with socks), playing with my dogs in the water, and just wearing around. They do fill with fine sand, but they rinse out very easily. Got the Men's version for my husband and he loves his just as much as I. Amazed, at how quickly they dry...2-4 hours if you remove the liners! I will definitely buy more of these.

These are my all time favorite shoe. Comfortable, durable and practical. I bought these shoes for my tour in Afghanistan and I have since recomended them to everyone. They are like stepping on pillows all day.

These have been great shoes thus far. I originally bought these as a water shoe to use for an upcoming canoe trip but I find myself wearing them running errands, and have used them as a walking and running shoe (I am not an avid runner, however). My feet and legs are never sore. They're a great looking shoe and very comfortable! Take the advice and order a 1/2 size down.....especially if you plan to wear them without socks.

these are so comfortable, I forget I have them on. However, the arch support is a little weak for those of us with high arches...but actually, we always have shoe fit problems

I bought my regular size and wore it for a while, even though it was a bit large. (Sometimes in summer my feet swell and I like more room.) But I wanted a better fit for hiking so I bought a size smaller and they're perfect! I wore them to the beach and sunk into water-saturated soft sand, and to my surprise, all I had to do was tilt my toes and the water flowed out leaving my socks still wet but my feet still comfortable. That's a first! Nice cool comfortable shoe for hot summers in CA.

I didn't take the advise about the half size smaller and wish I had but I will say I could never get through the water running with out them. Good support but not great for my planter fascists. At $40.00 cheaper I can deal with the brighter yellow. I do love how much harder I can workout with these. Great shoes.
Diana - 2008-07-16Great Casual Shoe
These are definately a water and light-weight, cool walking or spa shoe. Very comfortable, 'ventilator' type. I'm using them for an all around weekend, errands and house shoe. Probaly wouldn't use these for traditional trail hiking. Good for walking on the beach, in and out of the surf, with more protection, traction, comfort than beach shoes. The arch support and overal ergonomics are the standard Merrell comfort, that make your feet really happy! I got the blue color, very nice, it's about as low-key as was available in my size.
Heather - 2009-10-13Surprisingly Useful
I had a really hard time trying to figure out some shoes that I could wear on a backpacking trip to a slot canyon. We were trekking through mud and water up to our waist. I took a chance on these shoes and they worked surprisingly well. They stayed on and drained the water/mud very well. The only complaint I had was that they were not exactly high load friendly. My feet got very tired at the end of the day, but it is a difficult to task to be light and airy while still being sturdy enough for backpacking. All in all, I was very satisfied with the job they did under such extreme abuse. I would buy Merrell shoes again, for sure.

Nice shoes for wet and dry activities. I was hoping they would be more rigid like a running shoe, but they were more 'water shoe' than I had hoped. They'd be great for water activities and trails, but probably not the best for hiking. The yellow is more vibrant than the picture and name let on. I'd recommend ordering a half size smaller than normal if you plan on wearing them without socks.
