Excellent First Outing

The Millet Womens Adrenaline Pants were purchased for me as a gift to be used first on a camping trip in Arkansas on Mt. Magazine. We woke up Saturday morning to rain and 35 F degrees. I am sensitive to the cold, so I put a midweight base layer under the Adrenaline Pants. The days activities included cooking breakfast and supper, one hike of about 6 miles and another about 3 miles. We had to duck into the tent twice due to hail storms and high winds passing through in the morning. The days high was 37 F degrees and it never stopped raining of some degree. No matter what the activity the pants were rainproof and windproof, with the base layer I stayed warm all day. This is exactly the situation the pants were purchased for and they exceeded expectations. No issues with build quality, I also have a Millet backpack and highly recomend their products. They are a flexible piece of clothing, I can see them slipped over short pants for cool mornings or with increasingly heavier base layers for even colder weather. They are comfortable working around the campsite or hiking on the trail. Since I did not fall on the rocks this year like last year I cannot really advise on durability, through normal use there were no issues. In one day they have earned a place in my backpack for all but the summer. Look forward to wearing these on our next snow shoe trip, Taos, NM. is coming up.
