Montrail Bivouac Slippers:
Intentionally designed on a shoe last, the Montrail Bivouac offers a fit second-to-none over other insulated camp booties and gives you two-layer versatility you can wear in your backpacking tent or around base camp without tracking debris into your mountaineering sleeping bag. Wear the inner bootie inside the waterproof slipper during trips outside your tent without worrying about the soggy slips and slides on snow that you often encounter with other flat-soled down booties. The outer slipper uses a thin layer of tread to enhance traction without adding excess weight or unyielding bulk to your backpack. Even if you did find a way to get the inner bootie wet, the fast-drying PrimaLoft® ONE insulation maintains thermal insulating performance in and out of the rain. Like other Montrail shoes, the Bivouac was built around a shoe last, so it fits more closely and insulates your feet better than those sloppy, floppy tent slippers that supposedly use one size to fit all.
- Waterproof stretch textile outer slipper with three-ply composite high-tensile fabric and a polyurethane coating
- Durable and breathable ripstop nylon fabric along inner bootie
- Warm 400-g. PrimaLoft® ONE insulation
- Outer slipper has a thin rubber tread to minimize pack weight without compromising grip on snow
- Inner bootie features a low profile synthetic suede sole with silicon-molded tread
- Reflective elements on outer slipper are easy to spot when searching pack or tent with a headlamp
- Weight: 5 oz. (142 g.) in medium size
