Great Sandals
First time buying this brand. I love them! It took a couple of days for me to get used to them but once I did, wow what a difference. They have fantastic support. Like wearing sneakers.

comfy sandals
Very comfortable sandals. The most comfortable walking sandals that I own. I have about eight pair. Slight abrassin on the second toe on my right foot but that should only be temporary.

Comfortable flip flops
These flip flops are very comfortable. The strap is a little loose but the footbeds are very nice. Too early to tell about durability. I heated the shoes in my oven and the fit is fantastic.

More than FlipFlops
These are a sturdy, quality built shoe, much more than a flipflop.
They stay on your feet well and have good traction.
The High arch support, could take some getting used to.
I'm 5'11"...200lbs or so....usually wear a 10.5 or 11 depending on the shoe---the 11 was the right choice here.
I really like the custom fit option---came with easy to follow instructions.

Excellent!!!
I walk 3 miles a day as part of my commute in Manhattan. I am 5'10" and weigh 210lbs so I'm not exactly light-footed! I've worn these now in hot, humid, slippery and rainy conditions on the streets of NY and never once have I felt any discomfort, especially in my weak arches! I haven't tried the oven-mold process yet as I haven't needed to - my arches are supported perfectly already. I normally wear size 10 or 10.5 medium and had to return the size 10 sandals in place of an 11 which is perfect for me, so I'd say they run slightly small. The comfort is amazing and this makes them worth every penny! Don't waste time trying anything else like I've done for the past few years - buy these sandals and enjoy them as much as I do! I wish the manufacturer would come out with a line of dress and casual shoes that are as great as these!

great flip flops
These flip flops are very comfortable and durable. They run true to size, they do not run small at all. They are great for around the campsite and beach. What more can I say about Flip Flops? They are great!

comfortable flip flop
this is my second pair of molokai flip flops and they are the most comfortable flip flops i have ever worn. I have plantar faciitis and the molokai flip flops really are one of the few flip flops i can wear without pain.i usually wear them as soon as i get home from work or after playing golf and they feel better than any other shoe i own.My first pair lasted for 5 years,so they are very durable. i highly recommend them.

I really like these. The foot bed conforms to my foot right out of the box and with a few minutes in the oven, I get a custom fit. The break-in is immediate. However, there is a very defined arch so if you have flat feet or have lived in "cheapo" versions, it'll be a transition. Think "flip flop with an orthotic" type of feel. Gotta really good pair of off-road boots or shoes? These are in that league.
The sole provides good grip on slippery surfaces like wet concrete as well as dirt trails if they're not too steep AND they're just nice enough (non-flip-flop-like) for adding a pair of khakis for a night out.
As a big guy (6' and 197 lbs.) long time wearer, I get about two years of use from them until they look a little worn out (with daily wear.). Also at two years, they'll leave a bit of color on the bottom of your feet. Not much, but noticeable. I'm in no hurry to stop wearing my current ones.
The brown leather strap model I started with seems no longer available (bummer) so I've moved to other colors. Perhaps they'll come back.
Oh, and while they make great dog toys, a few minutes with Fido could be fatal despite they're rugged build.
Let's see, what else? Sizing is pretty accurate, colors don't fade, the seem to last forever (despite the little "sole color" issue), you can wear them for hours without discomfort or fatigue and as a traveler, easy at the airports.
I like 'em.

Very Nice Flip
Bought these on sale to try out some more expensive flips. I usually have a $25 limit and have worn some O'Neil flips that I buy every summer. Those look good but dont often feel the best so I decided to try something new.
The Molokai is very basic looking, I went for the black/gray lettered combo, but the function is awesome. Right out of the box I felt the immediate support on my feet. The soles are sneaker like, very nice and solid feeling which explains why they feel so good on the feet. They are like an open toed sneaker.
I did not bake them for fit as recommended since they felt so good as is. I might go ahead and do it just to see. One negative I have noticed is that they do build up a "smell" pretty quick, which goes away once they dry out. Something to consider for long walks in the sun, but atleast your feet will feel good even if they smell a bit.
When these wear out I will definitely rebuy, even at full price.

Feels Great
I own a lot of sandals and these are the most comfortable, the thing that stands out is the arch support. The heat forming method makes the fit perfect. I am a 9.5 D and the size 10 fit fine. They are also nice and light.

Beyond Comfortable
I was a little skecpital when I placed my order because I hadn't heard of Montrail's. But I must admit it was a excellent choice. I ordered a second pair within a week.

Molokai Flip Flop
Perfect casual flip flop! Offers good cushion and support, and overall a nice sturdy flip flop. Will buy another pair in the future. If you can get it on sale, buy it immediately.

Great Flippy
This is a great flip flop with the best arch support that I have found in a flippy. Plus, it is heat moldable, unheard of in a flip flop. The foot bed is also very soft and shock absorbent. I am hoping that they come out with more styles using this footbed. I wore them right out of the box and have yet to use the heat molding, as I have such high arches, I love the out of box arch support already. I recommend these highly to people looking for an above average flippy that provides comfort and support!

Montrail flipflops
I really like the moldable footbed and they are comfortable except for one thing. They seem to rub the top of my toes where the post attaches to the straps.

These sandals are awesome
These sandals are awesome. They make plantar fasciatis pain go away. I've recommended them to all my friends. They are so comfortable I walked Disney World in them.

comfortable
I needed a pair of flip flops for this summer and didn't want a pair of the cheap ones. I saw these online and was sold on trying them after reading the reviews. I must say they are very comfortable and I was impressed with how much arch support these have. I have yet to bake them , but I am sure it will make them even more comfortable, if that's possible. Great Flip Flops
I purchase these flip flops to replace another pair (another brand) that had worn out. There is no comparison between the two. These are vastly superior to the old ones. They fit great, are extremely comfortable and make no noise like my other ones. I would highly recommend them for comfort and wear.

Montrail Sandals - everything I expected !
I have had about 4 pairs of Montrail trail shoes in the past couple of years and I keep buying buying them because of quality, comfort, and design.
I live in NYC and we walk more than anybody in the whole country. Premium footwear is essential!
My previous pair of flip flops wore out, and I had always had my eye
on the Montrails.
I'm glad I got them and would recommend them to anybody. The arch support is really really good.
I would also like to recommend Montrails to anybody and everybody. Unfortunately, most people besides outdoor enthusiasts do not know about Montrail.

These really are the best flip-flops
I own several pairs of sandals and flip-flops, depending on the occasion (beach vs summer party), location (home/vacation/airplane) and purpose (around town/performance). I bought these because the pair I use around the house (with stairs, hardwood floors) fell apart on me. I initially bought these because of my low arches, I needed something with support. Although I've only tested these in my house, I feel that they would be great almost anywhere. Because of the ability to create a custom-fit, having lighter than air comfort and a secure feeling (I'm defining this as keeping your feet in and not slipping out and also for hardwood surfaces, going up/down stairs), I think these flip-flops were a great purchase. FYI - I took the advice of one of the users as they mentioned it was on the small side, I usually wear a 9 but ordered a 10, which fit perfectly.

Great Shoe!
I didn't figure a flip flop could actually be supportive, comfortable and good for your feet....but these flip flops cover it all. They are great. My only complaint is they run a tad small (at least for me) but I can live with it for the comfort they provide. Highly recommend this product.

The Molokai Flip is much better than
Normal "flat" flip-flop sandals can be difficult to use for more than a leisurely mall-crawl because they don't handle uneven or sloping surfaces well, and they can abuse the space where the thong goes between toes. Molokai cures all of that by adding an ergonomic curve to the sandal leading to more of a "foot-bed" effect. This allows traverse down stairs or inclined surfaces without a tendency to fall off or step outside the heel.The arch rise allows determined walking without slipping at the sole and the strap shape eliminates thong rub or cuts. The foam sole offers comfort on hard floors and protects from irregularities (like rocks) being felt when stepped upon. Thermo-moldability lets you really make them custom for you....yes maybe even luxurious. Very light weight makes them easy to pack along on any outing. I guess I like them even better than I though I did when I started to write this.

Great support and comfort in a Flip Flop!
I have absolutely no arch in my feet...My podiatrist turned me on to these flip flops after I complained of foot pain from just wearing regular sandals. The "Montrail Mololai" have a great arch support built in and also feature the ability to be custom molded to your individual foot. It's been a "God Send" for my feet!

the BEST flip flops in the world!!!
This is my 2nd pair of Montrial flip flops in 4 years. The first pair is still in great shape! They're SO COMFORTABLE! I've found nothing else that comes close! Besides comfort, they also really hold your foot and give you great support and traction.

Very Comfortable!
I gave these to my husband for his birthday. He baked them in the oven per the directions and has been raving about them ever since. They molded to his feet and he says it's like walking on air.

Love them!
I have plantar fasciitis and after a run or a game of basketball these flip flops are great to put on to ease my tired feet! I have not baked them yet, but they feel great as is. Would recommend for sure!
