Extraordinary -- beautiful, unique, playful, the Mountain Boy Sledworks Elegant Flyer Sled is built like a piece of fine furniture that trumps everything else on the sledding hill. Each is made of fine figured woods in the Silverton workshop, and signed/numbered by the sledmaker. Constructed of curly maple at the deck with willow handrails, 3 coats of marine-grade polyurethane protect for a life time of fun. Custom-molded plastic skids give flotation in soft snow and precise tracking on hardpack, so that the pivot-front can make slalom turns, 180-degree turns, and hockey stops.
