Mountain Boy Sledworks sports craftsman's hand-made quality, the Sled Pad for the Ultimate, Classic, Elegant or Royal designs makes sure you use their classic styling. Crafted in the Silverton workshop in limited quantities, this 1" thick pad has a water-resistant nylon cover that attaches with a sturdy nylon strap. Offered in reversible red or green, this pad matches perfectly to each sled that is signed and numbered by the sledmaker.

We've tried our sled with and without the pad. Our conclusion is the pad helps cusion if you're going off jumps or even small bumps. It also helps keep you on the sled since the nice finish gets a little slippery if its really wet snow. Good purchase! Well worth the money!
