Some bags are snug and built for frigid conditions when survival depends on optimizing thermal performance. Other bags are built loose and wide for camping or leisure backpacking--the perfect choice for summer. If you wanted a good night's sleep, you've had to settle for buying one of each, but thanks to a special expandable draft tube in the Mountain Hard Wear Quantum series, you can own one sleeping bag that keeps you comfortable in a broad range of temperature conditions. Rated to 0 F, the Third Dimension features an expandable draft tube that provides up to 8 in. of additional room for warm temperatures and layering space in cold conditions. Contoured hood and foot box for added thermal protection beyond the torso.
