Extended pit zips along the sleeves enhance venting and cooling comfort during prolonged ascents or late spring skiing. Inset reinforcements under and along the arms, elbows and cuffs help protect the garment from the abrasive wear associated with snowboarding and snow sliding. This is a do-it-all cold weather piece that works and plays exceptionally well with other breathable inner layers. The internal mesh water bottle--a feature usually only found on high-end mountaineering outerwear--is a nice added touch that potentially eliminates the need for carrying a bulky hydration pack.
