Compressor Jacket
My son is five feet tall and 85 pounds and in 6th grade. When his arms are at his sides the hem fits right underneath his hands at his fingers as a sport coat would. The jacket has extra arm length if needed but the cuffs hold well at the wrists. The style is parka like and looks very nice along with the fitted hood which he uses all the time, negating a need for a hat. We live in the Northwest and this is perfect for all weather conditions. The thermo micro insulation is amazing, the warmth to weight ratio is unbelievable. This jacket moves with the child and does not restrict becuase of its superior tailoring. Note: Mountain Hardware does not run large in fit, my eight grade son is 5'6" and has a mens small in the Zonal Mountain Hardware jacket.

MY SON LOVES THIS COAT
MY SON HAS AN AVERSION TO PUFFY BIG COATS SO I PURCHASED THIS ONE IN THE HOPES IT WOULD BE MORE LOW PROFILE. THE COAT IS REALLY WARM BUT THIN ENOUGH NOT TO BE CUMBERSOME. MY SLIM 10 YEAR OLD GOT THE MEDIUM AND IF FITS PERFECTLY.

Too Small
The quality of the jacket was good, but the fit and cut was too small. I was disappointed that Mountain Hardwear boy's sizing maxes out at Large instead of Extra Large. The jacket was nice, but the fit was not sufficient.

Awesome jacket
Always went with the less expensive puffer polyester jackets, finally decided to splurge and I am so glad I did. My kids don't like bulky jackets and this is perfect!

great jacket
We've been looking for a light weight, warm, rain proof, cool looking jacket for my 13 year old boy...it's tough to find unless you're willing to spend hundreds of dollars. But this coat fits the bill perfectly without breaking the bank. My son wears it almost every day.

Great jacket for active boys
I bought this jacket for my 5 year old & he loves it. It's so lightweight and comfortable, he loves to wear it. It keeps him really warm while not restricting his movement in the least.

Great jacket.
My boys and I (I have the same one in the adult size) prefer this jacket as it provides great insulation and warmth, yet it is not as bulky as a down jacket (which can at times constrict movement). Also, you can more easily layer with this jacket.

Great Jacket
My 8 year old son has severe issues with wearing heavy coats, even during a blizzard. He is so happy with this jacket! No more arguing before he leaves the house!
