Picture is not accurate

The footprint matches the tent (it is not blue like in the picture). I agree with another commenter, in that this should be included with the tent, but that isn't really a knock against the footprint itself. Very light weight, but sturdy enough.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useDoes the job.

Got this to extend the life of my tent and also be able to set up just as a shelter. The nice thing of being able to set a shelter is: 1. as a light weight backpacking option when bugs are not around and 2. being able to set up in the rain and keep the tent body dry. When shelter is up, climb in and start clipping in the tent body out of the rain. You could even do this taking it down. Just try it at home first, and just be aware of the order you have the metal grommets on the end of the tent poles for ease of take down. No real biggy because any other tent with a footprint will have the same ordeal. I have two, 6 liter stuff sacks for the tent storage in my backpack. One for the tent body and the other for the fly and footprint. This allows me to keep the wet fly and footprint away from the dry tent body. Also the footprint is not blue, it is the same colors as the tent.
Great Purchase!

The drifter 3 tent and footprint are a great combination. They fit together easily and both the tent and footprint held up well under very high winds and heavy rains, when other tents on our trip failed. I would purchase this tent again without hesitation.
Wish it was included in the tent package...

Bought this to accompany the tent. Works great with the tent, of course, just wish Mtn Hardware included it with the tent package.
