Excellent high-quality tent
I have had this tent for 5 years+ and used it extensively in lots of different conditions. The high quality and versatility keeps surprising me, it is still in excellent condition! I use the footprint which doesn't add any significant weight. It is fast to pitch and can be pitched almost everywhere, including on plain rock. There is lots of room for two persons and the inside height makes moving around, including dressing and undressing easier. I have slept in torrential rain without any problems. It also handles strong winds well. Ventilation is excellent, both for damp conditions and heat. Since the inner and outer tents are separated, the tent can be packed wet without getting soaked all through (many Hilleberg tents are hopeless here since a wet outer tent soaks the inner tent when packed). The only downside is that the side area is a bit to small to cook in efficiently.
