mammoth coat
if you are coldblooded, then this is your coat. i am 6 ft tall, large frame so therefore ordered a XL. the sizing was perfect but this coat is extremely bulky. too bulky for in my opinion practical everyday use unless you live in an extremely cold climate. if so, the bulkiness is acceptable considering the warmth the jacket provides. believe me, this coat is very warm. it's construction appears very good. i was pleased with the color (black) i ordered. if you live in a very cold climate i would highly recommend this coat. if not, i think the bulkiness is such that it restricts your range of motion too much. if that is ok you will at least be warm. i am unable to comment on durability as this is my first one.

Excellent Jacket
I highly recommend this jacket for alpine ascents. I used it on Denali. It prevented me from getting frostbite. This is the best down jacket in its class!

The Best money can buy!
I have used this parka in -60f windchill conditions above 20,000 feet and nothing compares to the warmth. Even if you don't plan on doing high altitude winter mountaineering putting this "wearable sleeping bag as I like to call it" on when crawling out of the tent in the morning or hanging out at camp after the sun sets it will completely change the enjoyability of your trip. I hate to be so dramatic but this jacket will make your outdoor winter experience so much more enjoyable. Some people say overkill, I say unzip it. Feel free to just wear a t-shirt underneath it.

Super warm parka
Absolute Zero is a great design with 4 outside pockets (2 water bottle and 2 hand warmer) and a large inside pouch for gloves, etc. Is true to size and easily fits over all base layers. Adjustment cords allow custom fit for all activities.

Stay warm like a Siberian Husky
This parka is designed to keep you warm in the coldest places on earth. Well designed, rugged and built to move when & where you do.

Good, different structure from Himalayan of TNF
This jacket is well-constructed with high quality material. Really toasty and never be frozen even in extremely cold weather. One thing has to be improved, in my opinion, is to insulate more on shoulder part. Everywhere in this jacket is thick enough besides shoulder. I think MHW made shoulder relatively thinner than other part to provide better mobility but I felt less warm than TNF himalyan jacket due to shoulder part.
