Great Wicking Layer
I have loved the Patagonia lightweight/Cap 1 stuff for awhile then I discovered the MH Advance Lightweight line and started to switch over and use the Mountain Hardwear baselayer.
I frequently do 2-3 day camping trips or mountain climbs and I usually take 1-2 tops and a bottom and they will be all I need. They wick great, can be used alone in warmer weather or do great as an underlayer when the weather gets colder. They also do a great job keeping the BO level under control. Some of the older Patagonia stuff still smells like sweat even after a wash, the advance stuff lets the odor wash right out even if you just drop it in a stream or a bucket of water and dry over night.
My only issue is I would love it if it had a bit more stretch, this material is a bit "Static" but it's still very comfortable.
As usual Mountain Hardwear comes through with a classic.

Lightweight long sleeve
This is a great shirt from Mountain Hardware. I have worn it on a mild day and it was very comfortable. I didn't get too hot in it and I feel like it will be very good for layering in cold weather. Very good quality and I will be buying more MH gear because of it.

Fall run in Chicago
Wore the Mountain Hardwear Advance Lightweight Long Sleeve Crew on my last 5K over the weekend. Temp was warm for this time of the year in Chicago. Around 75 degrees. This top was perfect. Lightweight and loose fitting. I was confortable and feel it would work well as base layer on future runs when the temp starts to drop. Thanks Altrec!!

nice piece, very light weight, yet kept me warm.
Wicks moisture well and I like the different color stitching.
