Great spring, fall jacket
I really like this jacket. It is cut a bit short, and small, however, I just like the fit. It breathes fairly well and provides a bit insulation. It is all around work horse. Can be used as mid layer, or as a outwear. I am 5'8", 165lb, I really like how the medium fits. However, I can't really put much under it. Overall, this is a really great jacket. Functional, yet with great style.

Great Jacket
My mountain hardwear jacket was a very good purchase for me because of the comfort, fit, durability. When I first looked at it I thought it was too lite to be a winter coat, But after wearing it in 24 degree temperatures it was fine. It is nice to have a lite jacket that is flexible & warm.

Great Quality
This jacket is awesome. It is warm and comfortable. I just wear a T-shirt inside then I can go outside when it is around 30F. The texture quality is good.

Outstanding Quality and Style
This jacket is an absolute steal for the price. Great quality, great style and a great wind blocker. Too warm for nordic skiing but it is a no-brainer for those that like to layer in colder weather. I throw this on after nordic skiing and I have used it for Alpine skiing in this cold Minnesota January. This jacket coupled with a heavy base layer and vest and your ready for anything winter can throw at you!

So close to perfect
This is a very high quality soft shell with great warmth to weight ratio. That said, it could use a little taper in the torso. Additionally, the gary piping on the inside of the zipper is a very strange visual when you dont have the collar zipped to the top. I ultimatlel sent it back as I did not like the collar and the zipper.

Top Notch
The quality of this jacket to me outweighs the equal by North Face. It is extremely comfortable and warm. It is also very light. I love this jacket!

Great Jacket
Overall great jacket. I found that the medium was too tight for me so I found the large to better suit my 5'9" 160 frame.

Great Jacket
I have only worn it around town and not in any extreme situations, but it has held up perfectly. Fairly light weight, yet warm. It is water resistant and I have had no problems with rain or snow. Overall, great jacket.

Great Jacket. Simple, but very nice looking, nice fit
I really like this jacket. Not as fancy as some other jackets I own. But its clean look and nice fit make it one of my most worn jacket.

Best athletic fit of the 3...
I was recently debating between this jacket, the Marmot Gravity (MG) and the North Face Apex (NF). I ended up buying both the Mountain Hardwear Android (MHW)and the MG in a different color. The MHW fits the best by far if you have an athletic build with a smaller waist line. I'm 6ft, 200lbs with a 44' chest and 32' waist and the large fits like a glove. However, please note the large I tried on (old model w/ bolt on right chest) was a bit more snug in the back then the one I received (newer model with MHW name on left chest), but that is a good thing in my opinion if you're going to be active in the jacket. In addition to the fact that everybody and their brother has the NF, when the jacket was zipped up and I sat down, the mid-section billowed so badly that I felt like I was carrying a basket ball under it. On the other hand, the MG fits very well and it is the best quality of the 3; however, it is a bit heavier with a sleeker less technical look. The MG has a couple higher quality details the MHW and NF jackets don't. For example, 1) the zipper pulls are ergonomically shaped rubber that work extremely well with gloves, 2) the lining in the chest area is micro fleece instead of the cheaper feeling mesh, 3) there is an inside pocket on the left chest for a total of 4 pockets, and 4) the outside material has more stretch and is a little thicker. To me, these are features that justify the additional 20 bucks. All in all, I am extremely happy with both the MHW and the MG, so I don't think you go wrong with either of them. Bottom line, if you want a lighter jacket with a more technical appearance go with the MHW, but if you like a classic look and you're a stickler for quality in the little details the MG is the one.

Too short for taller men.
Nice jacket, but too short for anyone 6 feet or taller. Too short in the torso and sleeves.

Great Jacket
Although the mountain hardware is not my most favorite brand, the jacket is as well as other great famous softshell jackets in preventing me from wind and rain, most important, It is absolutely worth its price!

Nice jacket
This is a good jacket for temperatures about 45 F or above. A little too light when the temperature drops into the 30s. Well made and looks good.

Very solid, lightweight jacket
This is a perfect light-to-midweight jacket to layer over a long sleeve T or whatever you like. Perfect for cool to cold temps and the XL fits me well (I'm 6'3, 195). Very happy with the jacket so far.

Great! Product I love it
I have already tested it in the rain and wind and I stayed dry and comfortable. I am thinking about buying one for my brother too. If you are looking for a light jacket that keeps wind and rain off of you I would recommend this jacket!

Wonderful lightweight jacket!
This jacket is very well made and handsome. It's light so it's good for mild winter days or could go under a shell for nastier weather. Very happy with my Android jacket!

Excellent fit
Ordered mine in size large in cocobolo. Nice fit and feel for my 6 foot slender frame. I think these run small. This jacket in M was a little small. Good weather resistance for a wide range of temperatures and conditions.

Love This Jacket - Highly Recommend
I purchased this jacket to replace my Mountain Hardwear Windstopper Tech Jacket. I have found the Android to be superior to the Tech Jacket: better water resistance, better stretch, and surprisingly warm given the light-weight fleece that is bonded to the interior of jacket. In terms of fit I first thought the Android fit too snugly under the arms but now I find it to be extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, Mountain Hardwear is inclined to place a large version of their logo on their jackets...fortunately they placed it on the sleeve of the Android. This is far superior to the in-your-face placement of the logo on the chest of the Tech Jacket. The Android is a terrific all-around jacket whether you're into outdoor sports or just wearing it around town. Looks great and will keep you warm and dry (although it's not water-proof).
