Men's Butter - Man 1/2 zip
I bought this as a gift for my husband -- first of all - great sale on this item and the quality is wonderful. I also have this item in the woman's version and love it. The material is super comfortable and durable. I would buy "up" in size - just for extra movement. My husband is 6'5" and weighs 220 - I ordered him XXL because of arm length and broad shoulders.

Nice goods
Feels terrific on and provides the perfect base for layering. I have Renauds Syndrome do the longer sleeves and thumbholes are perfect warmers. I will take this on a European trip and use the zipper around back to stash cash. I'm usually a large but this large was just a tad big. Medium not available or I would have exchanged. Regardless, Nice Goods.

Extremely soft, warm
The material is extremely soft, although it gets a bit sweaty and remains a bit wet. Not as breathable as I thought. Warm and packable. Overall a good purchase.

Very nicely designed!
I bought two of the Butter-Man 1/2 zips. My biggest pros: they feel awesome next to my skin, and are designed almost perfectly. I use them for hiking, and just as a base layer, even for sleeping. I like the small hidden pocket. Actually, I like the entire look and feel of the top. Another winner from MH. My only disappointment is that I wish the mock neck was about an inch higher, as my throat always seems to get cold. Alo, the fit is ru, not too snug. Love 'em!

Great for running
This is a great garment for running. It works well as a base layer (e.g., under the Patagonia Puff). It fits close to the body, so size up if you choose to wear capilene as a base layer or want a looser fit. I'm 6'1" and 180 lbs, but chose the M - providing a form fit. The thumb holes are great and functional, especially when wearing gloves and a Garmin. The pocket on the left deltoid/bicep is not as functional (cumbersome - requiring two hands) as the nearly hidden waist pocket located on the right side. It dries quickly after washing (approximately 4 hours at room temp). This will surely become one of your favorite items.

awesome comfy shirt
The butter material is sweet- really soft and stretchy, and it wicks moisture well. The thumb holes are an added plus. Great for going on long hikes.

Awesome Mountain Hardware shirt
Best shirt I've bought in a long time. It is so soft, but yet warm and looks great. You can dress it up if needed, but looks great with jeans. Enjoy.

Perfect for a fall run in Chicago!!
I went for a 5 mile run the weekend the "butter-man" came in the mail. It was a cool chicago morning around 45 degrees and it was perfect. Not to heavy and not to light. Great price and delivery was spot on, as always. Thanks Altrec!!

Great multi-purpose pullover for running or just looking sharp
This pullover 1/4 zip is perfect for early morning or late evening runs. Styling is nicely different and the two little pockets add some spots for keys, coffee money....etc. Of course the thumb holes give you the option of looking cool and keeping the knuckle warm on colder than expected runs.

I bought this for my son and he loves it! The grasshopper is a great color and fabric is so soft. The thumbholes provide extra length for long arms.

Buttery smooth toasty warmth in this shirt
Looking for a great fit and feel from a next to skin single or layering shirt for fall/winter/spring? This is THE ONE! It not only has an ipod pocket on the upper left arm, but a stow pocket on the right side hem. Lower pocket can be distracting with heavier keys or items when running, though. The thumb holes on the sleeves are great for colder weather, but stick out like a sore thumb when not using them! You will thoroughly enjoy this true-to-size shirt. I had to get two I like it so much!

Great fit and super soft
This shirt feels great, has very good flexibility and fits well. I like it. If I could change anything it would be to eliminate the thumb-holes in the sleeves. Other than that I'm a fan.

great shirt
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it- He wears it regularly as either a layering piece or on it's own. The shirt material has a great feel to it. My husband said that this was the first time that he had a half zip that he was actually able to zip up all the way and still feel comfortable on his neck. I bought a medium (He is 5'9'' ~156lbs)-The shirt fits true to size
