I bought several of these shirts and use them on a daily basis. I found them slightly short in the body but otherwise well fitting. The zip pocket is useful and functional but I found the hook/loop pocket to be very insecure, there are gaps between the fastenings and they are not totally secure, for a map it is ok for anything else pay attention to the fastenings. The material is non-sticky and an effective barrier against the sun. The underarm vent mesh is not sufficiently course enough to reduce perspiration sufficiently. The collar extension for neck protection is not really effective as it amounts to less than an inch extra protection. Overall I would buy this product again, especially if on offer, but look carefully at the spec to check it matches what you want.

Waiting for more color to come out

I love this shirt I had to buy 8 of different colors and waiting for new ones to come out. The fit is very comfortable and the material are so easy to maintain. The shirt dries out in several hours indoors after washing which makes it very convenient when traveling. The length of the sleeves are perfect and the soft fabric on the side gives it enough ventilation. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

They are great for when the climate changes during the day. For example, when it is brisk in the morning and evening; however, it heats up during the day. Perfect for the outdoors man. The quality is awesome and I love the mesh side vents and the vent in the back - help keep you cool during the heat, while the sleeves protect you from the sun. Also love the thin fabric.

I've been wearing this exact shirt for years, thru several pattern changes. I love them for boating (paddling, sailing and motoring) and biking in Coastal Georgia. It absolutely BLOWS MY MIND that you can't secure the 'sunglasses' pocket and the size of the map pocket has been reduced. I think switching to snaps on the sleeve suspenders was a good move, those buttons always get caught on stuff in the washing machine. Mountain Hardwear, you must bring back secure pockets on both sides! I'm glad I only bought 1 of this new pattern.... Other than those nit-picky complaints, these shirts are super functional, wear well and dry in an instant. I'll keep buying them if you put the zipper back on, deal?

A bit disappointed, not like before..

A couple of years ago, I purchased two of the Canyon Long Sleeve shirts and have been in love with Mountain Hardwear ever since. I decided I needed a new shirt and purchased the same shirt ( I thought) in Titanium and was pretty disappointed in what arrived. 1st, it is almost impossible for me to button, unbutton the shirt. The button holes a very, very tight and with my beat up hands from a long life lived, I have to have my wife help. Secondly, I am 6'1", 220#, have a 38" (or so) waist. The mid part flair would fit a man with a 42" waist and the side panels are way too generous, cool air entrances notwithstanding. The older shirts are WAY more comfortable, much better fit, show better and are very well fitting. Also, the cheesy sleeve roll up snaps are not even in the same league as the original button up ones of the older shirts. I don't care that one may get ripped off, the button is the way to go. I do not fault Altrec, and will continue to do business with them. But I'll look harder if I decide to purchase Mountain Hardwear again.

Great product. Wearing this in warm weather climate (Florida in the summer) is comfortable. Lightweight, good sun protection and dries quickly. Zippered map pocket is deep and very useable. The other pocket is less practical; there is no closure to it so it tends to hang open (not enough to detract from the overall quality) . Fits well for me, average height and weight, and the relatively short torso length is good for wearing it untucked. Overall very good product and easy transaction.
