I wore this jacket most days on a 21 day trip to Aconcagua. With the vents open and just a tee on it was a great sun block at lower elevations. I am 5'11"-155 and have a large. I fit a down sweater under it and it was the perfect shell. I climbed in it most days up to high camp at 19,000. Best piece of gear I took on the trip!

I just moved to Stockholm from Northern California. It rains all the time here! This jacket has become a trusted companion; I keep it with me at all times. Completely waterproof, easy to pack away, construction is very solid. I'm 6’1” 200lbs and the large fits great.

I got this jacket on sale and it was a steal for the price. Very light weight and durable. Haven't gotten to test it out for long periods of time yet. But does its job to keep me dry. Looking forward to taking it with me to the Smokies. I got a medium and I'm pushing 5'10" and 150lbs and it fits great.

This jacket is just as advertised. Easy breathable shell, that is great for any season, and it fits over my Patagonia fleece perfectly. The jacket runs a little bigger than most, but everything about it makes it worth the money.

I love my cohesion jacket. It gets worn mostly in town but the couple trips I've taken it on it has performed very well. I receive many compliments on the jacket and I love the fit. The Material is light but still doesn't feel overly fragile.
I'm a bigger guy 6 foot,220 pounds and not all that slim, I fill out an XL T shirt and the Large fits me perfectly. The sleeves are plenty long. I didn't find a lot of reviews when I was considering so I thought I'd make it easier for the next person, you should too.

I've lived in Kentucky and Alabama while owning this jacket, and it is awesome for those muggy, rainy days that are so common in the South. Know going into it that this isn't a four season shell on its own and you won't be disappointed.

Loaded with features (long pit zips, venting pockets, attached hood) this jacket remains a simple effective rain jacket in all conditions. Stretch panels in back add limited benefit, but overall this is a well-made jacket that will keep you dry.

Spent 2 very rainy days at the Maine Canoe Symposium this year in my Cohesion Jacket. I stayed dry and comfortable all weekend. Worth the money at retail, a bargain at Altrec's sale price.
Hartley - 2006-05-17Worth $140 as an all-purpose rain jacket
I love the sturdy feel of the material that's thick but not heavy. The stretch panels don't stretch all the much, leaving the chest pocket kinda small. Venting options are great thanks to perfectly placed pit-zips and mesh pockets which double as vents if left open. Adjustments are simple and easy, the hood is good and the cuffs adjust well. An excellent jacket for $140, definatley!
Andrew - 2006-03-05Simple Waterproof Breathable Shell
This is a great shell. It is lightweight, waterproof, and breathable. The cuffs are a simple velcro construnction, which work very well. The inside is smooth, but does not get too sticky like some less breathable jackets. The hood does not get blown in the wind, has a stiff flap, and has a simple single cord tightener. It also has functional pit-zips, a strong zipper flap, one-handed draw-cord hems, and a welded Napolean pocket. Overall, a great waterproof shell.

The design of the jacket was very good, but the measurements were very off. Overly long sleeves, short mid waist, poor shoulder atriculation, and a tight fit across the chest. I have better pieces of clothes from MH and expected a better fit. WEIRD!
