Good belt
December 28, 2010
High quality, doesn't slip or ride up. Very satisfied. Might buy another color.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useNice but thin
January 01, 2013
I ordered this due to the width of the belt as I don't care for skinny belts. However upon arrival I realized the material is very thin (depth wise) and soft. The belt twists and curls when tightened rather than remaining firm and flat. The hole in the middle of the buckle is a bit odd as well, it doesn't make them less functional but it's a bit funny seeing the pants button through the hole.
Pros: Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Low performanceAlready own the Mountain Hardwear Double Back Belt? Tell us your thoughts.
Not impressed

The belt is a good width, plenty long, and the buckle seems very secure; however, after its first 12 miles under a pack my belt is pretty frayed around the edges. It is made of thin nylon which makes it comfortable under a pack but you'll sacrifice durability. I think for casual wear it will be fine but I will definitely be looking for something more durable for extended trips.

Lightweight and Dependable
May 23, 2011
I wear this belt practically every day. It's a simple design, as one would expect, but way better than your ordinary belt! The material is tough, yet lightweight so that you barely feel that the belt is there. As for dependability, you know those belts of this style that you tighten and they loosen up? This belt stays at whatever size you pull it, and doesn't slip! The two aluminum holding loops are lightweight and not uncomfortable to wear. The fact of the matter is, the Men's Double Back Belt keeps your pant's waist wear it belongs!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueI like this belt

I've been wearing this belt everyday for the past 5 months and I've never had to re-adjust it once it's on. I was a little worried when I first got it that the buckle would loosen up on it's own, but the buckle is very secure. It's so lightweight that it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing it, but I am. I'm giving it 4 stars as I don't have another one I can compare it to.

i use this belt almost everyday. sturdy, light, durable and great design. WHen you wear it you hardly notice i on your waist. One of my favorite parts of this belt is how versatile it is. I wear it to ski, hunt, casual wear and every other use. I highly recommend this belt for just about any use or need.

Bought two belts, the Patagonia Web Tech and this one. In terms of material & design, there is no comparison. The Patagonia Web Tech is much stronger and durable. I ended up giving it to my friend. Don't buy this one!

an excellent belt

after my last belt with a traditional buckle with holes failed i wanted something that wasn't going to wear out in the same fashion. i've used belts similar in design and they never seem to hold and i'm constantly adjusting them throughout the day. i was a bit skeptical about this design but upon the recommendation from a friend i gave it a shot, and i'm glad i did. the nylon is a bit thinner than i imagined it would be but it is comfortable. i did have to cut a few inches off because it was a bit long, but that's not an issue. once i set the tension on the belt i don't have to readjust. the buckle mechanism works flawlessly and has a nice finish. i wear this belt daily with jeans and doesn't look out of place.

Have used the belt all summer and its mostly held up well although the edges are getting a bit frayed. Buckle holds very well. The belt is also very "light" so when I am wearing it I barely know I have it on - its not big nor bulky around the waist.
