I bought this hat for my early morning running. I received yesterday, I ran this morning with it on. It did a great job keeping my ears warm. It seems breathable enough. so not too hot. I showed it to my wife and now she wants one for her bike riding. I will also be using this hat under my helmet for my bike riding. I highly recommend!Pros: Performance, Great value
Nice hat, runs small

I have the Effusion Power Jacket and really like the material so I was looking forward to this hat. Unfortunately, it runs too small. My head is squarely in the Regular range but that size hat made me feel like the skin was being peeled from my eyeballs. Although the fabric has some give, it has nothing like the stretch that many beanies have, so you can't count on it conforming to your head. I like the material and the lightweight quality. It's similar to the MH Transition, but the Effusion is a little lighter in weight and the Transition fits more true to size, IMO. If I were to run across the Effusion in a store I'd try on the large, but I don't want to go through the hassle of doing this by mail. As for the look of the hat, the top material is generous enough that, on me at least, it stands up a little rather than fitting snugly to the head. The "look" is obviously a matter of personal preference.Pros: Build quality, Cons: runs small
Black and Collegiate Navy.
