The Exposure II Bib is ideally suited for skiing, climbing and snowboarding--a stark contrast to many waterproof and breathable garments that merely specialize in a solitary alpine activity. It features a durable and waterproof 70-denier nylon dobby weave shell fabric that's uniformly backed by a two-ply waterproof/breathable Conduit™ membrane. Added reinforcements around the edge guards (ballistics nylon) and back panel (Schoeller®) minimize the odds for fraying and premature garment retirement. Adjustable Velcro® closures on the suspenders give you the freedom to dial in a perfect fit no matter how you layer your middle garments.

Really great pair of pants. Worked well for climbing Mt. Washington in NH. Really like the internal gaiters. Work well with double boots and the crampon guard does a good job of preventing damage.

I just want to say, that not only do I think the Men's Exposure II Ski Bib are high quality mountaineering pants, but I was even more amazed at the fact that Altrec was able to replaced them when I tore a hole in one of the pant legs.

I purchased these bibs for back country winter camping, skiing, and snow shoeing in the mountains of Montana. The last time that I wore them, the temperature was a cool 19 degrees below zero, and they (along with good base and insulating layers) kept me warm and dry. The craftsmanship is excellent, and they are built from quality materials. These bibs have a trim fit (which is typical of Mountain Hardwear products), but they do not limit my movement in any way. They provide excellent protection from the elements, but they do not weigh me down!

I feel this is the Ski Bib made for me. I wore this pants for 4 days on my ski vacation. I wear size S, inseam 30, the pants fits me perfectly. When I'm skiing, this pants give me great freedom of movement. Also, I didn't find any zipper problem like some other people described.

These bibs are very comfortable, durable and breathable. I just returned from a ski trip with a temperature range of 5 degrees with strong winds and snow on the top of the mountain and 30 degree temperatures at the bottom and never felt any condensation or anything -- just comfort. Great pants.

I would gladly spend time telling anyone who enjoys the great outdoors in winter that theses bibs will not let you down. They provide excellent coverage well above the waist. They transport moisture very well as after spending 5 hours in them on a cold windy day on PEI's north shore my legs and the fleece I was wearing were still dry. There are so few, if any, bibs left on the market at this price, so if you have the chance grab them when you can. You won't be sorry!

Good stuff. Not as warm as other brands, a tad pricey for its features, but other than that...not too shabby. The cool-max back helps to keep your back dry when you're backpacking or out in the snow. Good work MH
