Good, but not great.
January 07, 2013
I tried on a number of gloves at a local store, and was very hopeful these would keep me warm with reports of cold weather in Colorado. While they were the warmest in the store including Black Diamond, they just didn't cut it at the lower temperatures below 20. To be fair, they are rated above that and hope to use them when the weather is a little better. I bought another pair of gloves to handle the lower temperature - the SWANY Triplex Mittens - feels like a glove on the inside with separate finger sections, but like a mitten on the outside. The Jalapeno's with a hand warmer were still a bit cooler than the SWANY.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Cons: not as warm as the marketing suggestsGreat Warm glove

Jalapeno glove works great for me...I wear a liner underneath and ordered an XL. I normally wear a L. The gloves are warm and feature great mobility for the cold. I have used to cut and load wood and hike. No issues yet - seems like they are durable. Also, have good grip and gauntlet.

Great looking gloves. Can't wait to get on the slopes this year! Longer fit seems like it will keep the snow out and hands warm! Would definitely recommend! Go Altrec!
