not a good hat
January 30, 2012
I ususally only by Marmot products, i went ahead and gave this hat a try but it is not a good hat at all. Fit is poor, and it doesnt seem like it will keep my head warn at all. I will be staying with Marmot from now on.
Size, size, size

Just like with real estate the three most important factors are location, location, location, as is with every hat: size, size, size. This hat is great. It is lightweight, warm and comfortable with the exception of one thing: the size of it, or better yet the fit between all MH hats in general and my head. When I pulled the Nakaya all the way on, not only did it cover my ears, which is great, but also my eyes, which is not so great. I'd love to keep this one, as it covers your ears fully, yet allows you to hear what others are saying to you, which is great since you don't have to take your hat off to have a conversation; however, I need to see where I am going, and with this hat almost covering my eyes entirely, it is quite impossible. If your head is larger than mine, it is a great product I would highly recommend.Pros: Build quality, warm, lightweight, Cons: size
