Outdoor pants sized for real people.
So far these pants are great. Very durable. They are made of a relatively thick canvas type material, which is way better than the thin, flimsy nylon which is so commonly used by manufacturers. With that said, they are fairly stiff and quite warm, though I have worn them all day in 85 degrees without much of a problem. The best part is they are sized well and the 32 actually fit like a 32. Some folks have mentioned the seams unravelling, and I can see how this would happen. When I pulled them out of the box they already had some loose strings on the hems. Nothing some scissors and a quick sew up can't fix. I actually didn't even bother and I haven't noticed any problems. Though for a pant at this price, they should have better stitching. Overall nice pant. I'll be buying more.

Tough Stretch
Great pants for all kinds of outdoor activities. I only give them 4 stars because they are a bit too flared out at the leg opening for my taste. I had to taper them in a little. Otherwise, the fabric is what i think to be the perfect alternative to an everyday jean--It's just as tough, dries quicker, is lighter, and stretches! The lining on the waist feels great, along with the lining in the pockets.

Bombproof
Comfortable durable rock climbing pant with just a tad bit of stretch. The fabric is bombproof and hard wearing. I cannot think of any reasonable scenario in which i could tear or rip the fabric during an outing. This is a great pant, but I actually would prefer MORE stretch in a climbing pant. The stretchier, the better. I prefer the Mountain Hardwear Chockstone pant for climbing due to its super stretchiness.
This pant also does not slide easily or comfortably over either a Capilene baselayer or a merino wool baselayer. The snagging with motion makes large motions of the hips and knees uncomfortable.

Comfortable fit, great pants. I have two pair and love them. Great for travel. Nice weight fabric for the weather.

Piero Pants
These are very durable pants for outdoor activities but could also be worn in the office if you have casual business attire rules; they're somewhere between jeans and khakis or dress slacks. Lightweight and dry quickly while also shedding most water; they aren't waterproof but will keep you dry under most conditions. I found them to be a little short in the inseam; I wear a 32 in most pants and bought 32 in these and they're just a tad short, though not enough to buy the next larger size (34 would clearly be too long for me). It's a shame they are apparently discontinuing these pants because they are very versatile, comfortable, and good looking.

Great Pants
These things are really comfortable, great all around pants. My only complaint is the pockets aren't too deep but they are great for your hands and you still have plenty of other pockets for your stuff.

Best outdoor pants I have bought.
These are my favorite pants to wear year round. They stretch with every high step while hiking, so no seam to rip or limited mobility. They can take a beating while squeezing your way through slot canyons. And they look good too. Awesome pant all around..

The pants is a great stretchy pants for cooler weather, as the fabric is much heavier than the stuff used in other stretchy pants like the the Arc'Teryx Rampart Pant.
This is a very good wear and good looking pants.

Excellent Pants
I'm 5'6" and originally bought Small/Reg. I love them the minute I put them on, but I needed the Small/Short to really fit me correctly. I sent my order back and had to put a alert on the Small/Short when they became available. It took a long time but I finally got an email notifying me they were in stock. I jump on them really quick and finally got the pants...they are the most comfortable pants to wear anywhere..hiking and city is all good for this pants.

worth every penny
I would echo Arie's comments, in voicing how comfortable these pants are, and the fit is true to size description. I'll definitely be purchasing a couple more pairs of these.

OK, but should be Great!
front hand pockets would only hold hands, because they are so shallow that nothing would stay in pocket. Also looked like repair was made near front snap with wrong colored thread

worth the extra bones
Great pants. Excellent fit with enough stretch to help get the extra inch when you need it. My only complaint is that they don't come in enough colors. If you are debating between these and a more expensive pair, purchase two of these.

Soooo comfortable
I really love these pants! So comfortable to wear them for casual use that you'll always want to be in them. Soft material around the waist, also in the pockets, why aren't all pants made this way?? They have a nice fit, not too tight or loose... I started climbing the other day and they are perfect, pretty stretchy for going up the wall. I wish they would also make a 3/4 version of the Piero pants (for hot weather but provide knee protection against the rocks/wall). Can't recommend them enough!

Thumbs up
Excellent pair of backpacking pants. Heavy duty on the outside-- tear resistant, dirt resistant, and virtually water proof; yet extremely comfortable and lightweight. Attention to detail like fleece-lined waistline and pockets and solid construction all around. Best fitting hiking pants I've ever owned!

Great pants!!
My husband loves these pants. He wears them all the time. He has both colors and wants to buy a second set. They are comfortable and great looking on. The fabric is high quality and has the right amount of give you need when you are hiking or climbing.

Walking Man Who Wears One Pants Only
Where I live -- near a Southwest Washington beach where I spend a lot of time with my dog -- you'd better like windy, rainy, cold weather, and so should your gear. Took my Piero pants on a long walk on a typical February Washington afternoon the day they arrived. Kept me dry, warm and comfortable over a pair of mid-weight base underwear. When I got home, I hung them on a hook overnight and they were ready to put on again in the morning. Really good-looking, too, and they fit and hang perfectly. If I were an American Indian, my tribe would soon be calling me Walking Man Who Wears One Pants Only.

Best all Around Camp Pant
Comfortable, rugged and water repellent. I have worn this pant all day while traveling to our yearly wilderness destination. I own several pairs. Usage includes climbing, hiking and camp pant to wear at night around the fire. Well designed with function. I highly recommend this pant for its durability, function and comfort. This pant also wears well at work in casual business attire.

nice pants
This is a great all purpose stretch hiking pant. It is very comfortable and extremely durable. This pant could be considered a soft shell. It is very good quality and I would recommend these pants for hiking, climbing, camping and casual wear.

What is the leg style??
I like to know what is the measurement at the hem line to know if it is flared or straight legged or what!???

So Far...So Good!
After scraping up my knees and shins for years wearing shorts for rock climbing and canyoneering, I finally opted for the Mountain Hardware Piero Pants. So far so good...no blood and no rips after a day of canyoneering in Canyonlands National Park. Rugged material and lots of pockets. The true test will be an upcoming to Zion National Park in a couple of weeks.
