January 31, 2011
These have quickly become my favorite gloves. They are very warm and completely waterproof & windproof while offering great dexterity. They're well worth the price!

I bought these gloves for use in the backcountry. I wanted something light-weight for the hike up and for switching from touring to ride mode on my splitboard. Therefore, I need to be able to use my hands. They definitely provided enough warmth for the hike up, and I could still use my hands. I've also used them for spring conditions, and they work very well for that. So, if you are looking for a light-weight glove that offers good dexterity, these are a good choice.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value, can fiddle with backcountry gear easily when onRugged

Very rugged and warm pair of gloves. Gloves were a bit stiff at first but after wearing a few trips they have soffened up making it easier to hold items.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueWaterproof

To add to the above product copy and correct it if I may as 'water resistance' was mentioned. I just wanted to reiterate that these gloves are completely WATERPROOF due to the OutDry membrane used in the construction of the glove. We've figured out how to laminate this OutDry membrane 3-dimensionally to any shell fabric including, obviously, leather making gloves completely waterproof which isn't the case when using, what used to be standard, insert technology. We use the OutDry membrane in the majority of our glove line. I hope this info helps to clarify! Cheers!

These gloves are freakin' awesome man!

The pistolero gloves by Mountain Hardware not only look good, they feel good too! These are one of the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn. I dunked my gloved hands in a pail of water to see just how good they are and there was absolutely no leakage at all. These gloves would be warm enough for most any conditions you ski in. I love them.

not warm

These gloves are not warm. Riding my bicycle to work two miles in slightly freezing weather, my hands are stinging with cold. I bought them because other reviewers had said they were warm. They're absolutely NOT.

Good Purchase

Purchased these a while back. defiantly worthy of a purchase, high quality and fits very comfortable. the only problem i have come across is the warmth in the fingers seem to be lacking. i have had many trips where my fingers would become cold, even while active.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value, Cons: warmthWrite a review for the Mountain Hardwear Pistolero Glove here.

Durable, warm, and keeps your hands dry. Plus they are not too bulky. They are well constructed, your typical MH quality. I went backpacking in the mountains with them and they held up great. Great purchase
Pros: Build quality, Performancehardcore gloves, but not warm enough

the last missing piece of gear i needed were waterproof gloves. i needed something durable, waterproof and warm. i'm also a little spoiled so I like it when things are comfortable. so: they are very soft inside. very comfortable. However, as other people said there's a sharp edge to the loops inside the gloves, but only on one of them. durability - havent abused them yet, but they seem very good. warmth - so far, i am not so impressed :( in moderate cold, little windy with me sitting and eating/cooking my hands were cold... might need a lining.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Cons: not hot enoughToo cool glove

A cross between a ski glove and an Italian, cool Ferrari racing Moto glove. Great feel but a bit on the small side. Able to tie my hiking boots with no problem. Totally worth it...as with all MHW products.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useGood Quality Gloves

Founds the quality and durability of these gloves to be very good. They are very thin and i have great dexterity while wearing them, at the same time with the leather exterior they stay very warm.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueNice

Seem to be completely waterproof and windproof, warm without being too bulky. Either I have short thumbs or they're just way too long because the fingers fit spot on, other than that great product.
