Exellent gear

Purchased to wear with shorts while off-trail, on seldom used manways, etc. After several outings on overgrown trails in Alabama hardwood floodplain forests, with lots of low brambles and cockleburs, I have found that they perform exactly as hoped. They are light weight and breathable, yet sturdy enough to protect lower legs. Unlike most scree gaiters, they are high enough to cover to the top of boot soxs. Highly recommended for this purpose.
