This beanie is made extremely well! The construction of the hat shows attention to detail and a company that still produces its products with excellence! The design is great in that the hat covers your ears but also breathes. The combination of the microfleece ear liner along with the 100% wool material makes for a comfortable wearing experience! I have purchased two of these hats. The first hat was for me, but with a 23.25" head circumference it was too tight for me. So, I gave it to my younger son - who loves it! I also ordered another one for my teenage son who also loves the hat! They wear their hats all the time! Measure the circumference of your cranium and check sizing chart as the chart is accurate and will help you determine a proper fit! I contacted Mountain Hardwear and they informed me that they only make this hat is the "regular" size. if you are looking for a warm and comfortable hat, and the "regular" size will fit, get it! You will not be disappointed with the quality of this hat! I just wish they made it in "large"!
