Stores quantities of gear for feather weight
I am VERY pleased with the loft.
Using it the four pouches facing the ground and storing larger items on the top of it makes it easy to store an incredible amount of gear in the tent. The string used to attach it are also handy for hanging whatever you like (shirt to dry...).
Thanks to this product, most of the stuff is conveniently at hand's reach. It made my tiny lighweight tent feel comfortable for this summer's two months trek... and for a VERY marginal weight.

Lightweight organizer
This gear loft fits perfectly in my REI Camp Dome 2. It is lightweight with sturdy plastic hooks. I've had 10+ lbs of gear hanging at one time and the mesh didn't stretch too far into the center of my tent. I also used this in camp under a tarp to hang cooking utensils. With some rope it made a nice shelf. I've also thought of some cross-use ideas: pack separator, fish seine, pack webbing for strapped on gear, various emergency applications.

Practical
Works well in my Trango 2. Keeps the small items that find their way under your bag accessible. You can also lay a flash light in it for a lantern.

very handy
Very light weight, and and well crafted gear loft. I got this loft due to lack of space in my one man tent. Before the loft my tent felt very cramped, this is no longer a problem.
