A tough panel loading design that keeps climbing gear neatly sorted, the Mountain Hardwear Splitter 38 Backpack opens wide and lays out flat to provide full access to all your gear, and features an internal compression panel to hold heavy climbing gear firmly against its backpanel. Pull out its tarp to keep your climbing gear out of the dirt while sorting, and open its two internal zippered compartments (one fabric, one mesh) to retrieve your harness, shoes, chalk bag, etc. A large external pocket helps keep key gear handy, which also contains an inner security pocket for keys, cards, and moola. Other details include a flat zip pocket hidden under daisy chain, unique offset-cut, rebar daisy chain for easy clipping, attachment points for multiple ice axes, and dual side compression straps.
