Developed with many of the same functional features found on the top-of-the-line Tenacity Descent Jacket, Mountain Hardwear's Tenacity Lite Jacket is lighter by nearly a pound, making it the best choice for ice climbers and mountaineers who insist on lightening up on weight without sacrificing vital durability and key essentials. Lightweight waterproof and breathable FTX Light shell fabric and stitch-free welding reduce the overall jacket weight and actually increase the weather-shedding performance. Mountain Hardwear retained the heavier FTX fabric around the shoulders to minimize shoulder strap abrasion from heavy packloads. Like the Tenacity Descent Jacket, the Mountain Hardwear Tenacity Lite Jacket has an internal water bottle pocket, laminated cuffs with Velcro® closures and water-resistant SuperLight Pit Zips beneath the sleeves. The feature-to-weight ratio is so fantastic that you'll probably find yourself wearing it while hiking, backpacking and camping. Oh yeah--in case you're wondering: The roll-away Ergo Hood doesn't detach, but it barely weighs an ounce with the laminated brim.
