I picked up the Mountain Hardware Ultralamina 15 Sleeping Bag after reading a lot of reviews and much debate. This is an excellent sleeping bag - very warm, lots of loft, light weight, durable. At first I dismissed the Ultralamina 15 because of the zipper design utilizing two short zippers. I was worried the bag would be limited to cold weather camping without the ability to unzip the bag on warm summer nights. However, with the updated model that now includes one short and one 3/4 zipper, I was totally sold. I called several vendors and Altrec was the only vendor that took the time and 100% verified I would be getting the new updated model with the 3/4 zipper. This is a great bag, if you are on the fence with the down vs. synthetic debate, I think the bag does an excellent job of bridging the gap by providing the wet-weather benefits of a synthetic bag and a weight to warmth ratio that rivals down.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Excellent bag for the money

You can't beat this bag for the money. Very light, packs down very small for synthetic fill. It has tons of loft, this was the best feature IMO. The coldest I have had it in is 25 and I was worm. The only problem with this bag is the zipper. The zipper is very sticky. But considering the price point on this bag I'm not complaining at all. Even the stuff sack is great.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value, sweet, Cons: sticky zipper
great sleeping bag

This is a great sleeping bag. This new year model 2012 has a longer zipper on one side, almost full length, and this design is much more appreciated over previous versions. i like this more than the north face cat's meow
Very happy with bag. Warm at 28 degrees, lifetime warrenty

It's been years since I've purchased a bag. Own an old Northface Bigffoot. I live out west in foothills of central California. I've used it several times tent camping in snow conditions. The temp dipped down to at least 28 and possibly lower. I stayed very comfortable wearing only boxers and a beanie. I purchased the long bag to keep extra clothes at foot of the bag in case I needed to put warm clothes on. The clothes were never needed. The bag appeared to keep its loft well.I look forward to testing it to its limits. Bag purchased at Altrec.com. I would recommend this sleeping bag and the company again.
