Urbanite Traveler Jacket 4.1 5 9 9
Great material, cute, shapely, small shoulders This is a cute jacket! It has thick material, a comfortable jersey-feel liner (but only in the back, not the arms). I haven't worn it much because you have to wait until the weather is just right to wear it. Like many Mountain Hardwear tops, this fits me too tight in the shoulder's and upper arms. I had to size up to an eight (125 lbs, 5'5", wear a small or med in Mountain Hardwear tops), and would only wear a thinner shirt underneath this. And then with the 8, the waist gets a little too big, but still looks nice becasue it is cut in to show a feminine shape. November 27, 2011
a girlie girl's must have I enjoy pieces that have some versatility. At first, it was a challenge getting the right fit, as the Urbanite Traveler jacket runs small throughout the shoulders and arm holes. I ended up getting a size 8 to accomodate long sleeves underneath and I usually wear a size 4. What I enjoy most about this piece is the pockets, the length was longer for more coverage and the fabric is wonderful- a rugged look with a feminine fit and super soft lining, and functionality that makes this jacket one of my favorites! It will shed off light rain and definitely blocks the wind. The hood is generous and not fitted so you don't feel like a kid. If you tend to be thick through the upper body, this fit will not work, but if you tend to be slender or athletic build, you will enjoy the fit and unique style of the Urbanite Traveler. This is my first Mountain Hardwear purchase and I love it. July 9, 2011
so nice but so small Great looking jacket, but fit sooooo small, I'm 5'4, 104 lb, got the size 2 and size 4, but can not zip it up or move around when I wear it. December 14, 2010
Cute all purpose jacket I liked this jacket but ended up returning it. It runs very small, in fact I had to size up 2 sizes from my normal clothing size. I'm 5'10" and slender at 125lbs and I needed the size 6 in order to have enough room to comfortably move my arms. I wanted this jacket for traveling through Europe this summer but it just didn't work out for me. December 2, 2010
one rocking jacket! I snoozed on getting the Urbanite in a neutral color, and got the Blue Ice, which I wasn't sure about due to the apparent green accents shown in the photo. The actual jacket, however, is all dark blue, and the parts shown as green are really just a slightly lighter blue--very attractive. I wear size 6-8 in Mountain Hardwear (frustratingly, I split the S to M range), and normally go for 8 in tops due to my broad shoulders. Got a 6 in this one and it is a bit snug around armholes, room for one thin layer underneath, but I'll take it (particularly since there are no size 8s left)! The sleeves are plenty long, and it fits my 5'6" 120lb 34B frame like a glove and cuts a fantastic silhouette. It's lightweight but strong; I envision much usage in fall and spring. October 21, 2010
cute, but small, jacket This jacket is super cute and seems very versatile. However, it runs small, so I had to return it. September 24, 2010
urbanite not quite right This has the potential to be a very cute jacket, those of us without hips should refrain from this buy. The jacket design exaggerates its side seem making the jacket bell out at the bottom, the end result is a sloppy fit if you don't have the hips to fill it out. April 20, 2010
stylish rain resistant jacket Love the feminine cut of this coat. It has a longer length which is great over some of the long tops out now. Alot of stylish details, snaps, pockets etc.. The icefall color is a great spring and summer color, (it is a very hot color now). July 12, 2009
Worked Great! I wore my new coat on a recent trip to New York. The inside pocket was great, eliminating the need for a purse and it was not too warm. If you tend to get cold you can ear a light fleece under it. It washed up well too. Thanks June 25, 2009
