This shirt is very comfortable and warm. I would recommend it to anyone. The size is true and a great product. I am average size 125 and a medium shirt was a good choice for me. Sometimes athletic gear is made smaller than normal sizes. Mountain hardware is true to their chart of sizes for Womens clothing.

very flattering style
this shirt is really comfortable and has a flattering cut/ style. it is very fitted and warm, it is great for being outdoors in the evening in summer.

Softest Shirt Ever!
This is one of the most comfortable shirts I own. I bought the air color for an upcoming trip to Sweden, but find myself wearing it all the time. I am likely going to buy the red next. It is also more interesting to look at with the stitching detail and neckline than most shirts of this type. The sizing is small (or is intended to be worn quite form-fitting). I am normally a small to medium in Mountain Hardwear, but in this I am in a large.

This shirt has style
I was delighted with this shirt when it arrived. It is very stylish and well made. The description is accurate and it is very soft. The fabric is a performance stretchy type. It is a bit fitted so if you like your clothes close to your body order your normal size. If you prefer a looser fit order one size up. The arm length is also a bit longer than it needs to be in my opinion but the sleeves look very cute if you pull them up a bit.

Very Cute
Just received my top, color Bramble/ Titanium in size XS - very cute and feminine top and fits me somewhat tightly, which I like. Not sure about durability yet, but thumbs up. If you want to fit a bit more loosely, get one size up. The gray color contrast sleeves are a nice touch.

Excellent for hiking!
I wore this for some early spring hiking, w/ lots of rain in the forecast. It kept me warm and fairly dry; when it did get wet (due to weather or sweat) it dried overnight hanging up on a line. Worked great as a base layer, esp. since it's incredibly soft! Excellent piece of clothing that I hope to get a lot more use out of on my long section hikes!

Nice but fits very small
Pluses -- I like the fabric and the style. It's nice to find a sport top that is different in style than the long-sleeved zip tops. The fabric seems like it will wick well and will be warm enough (warmth you'd expect from a non-fleecy-inside top)
Minuses -- The fit is really, really small. I am normally a size 0 or XS, but I ordered this in a size S because I wanted to be able to layer it over t-shirts. On its own, it is absolutely TOO tight, and showed every bump and ripple, and there is no way that I could layer this over everything. Also, I have long arms, and the sleeves (yes, I know they're meant to have the handwarmer piece) were too long, even with the handwarmer part factored in. The length was good, but I think if I went up to a size M, everything would be even longer but still not free enough to add layering.

Great Looking Shirt
This product looks way better on than the one featured on the model. Bought it for the winter ski season and it's warm but also very stylish. Plan to wear while skiing and after!

Love it!
Love the fit and the feel. Looks great on. Is long, like others have said, but not too long. Wish I had seen this earlier in the season to be able to buy the others from this line. I'll keep my eye on their new winter line so I get them all before they sell out!

I absolutely love this shirt. It is so soft. It runs a bit long but I prefer that than being to short. The price was excellent

Quality item for the tall and lean
I gave this a 3 stars because of it's fit. I actually returned it. I believe that the shirt is very nice, but it is made for someone that is over 5'9" and thin. I am 5'7" and a size 8 with a small waste but big hips ... the shirt did not fit me in length (too long) nor width (too clingy on the hips).

love this purchase
This is warm and cute layered with a turtleneck underneath. It very fitted and lightweight. The contrast detailing makes it very attractive. It's comfortable to wear. Not very warm, which is why I layer in cold weather. It did snag slightly with a velcro jacket sleeve, so it's a bit delicate.

Lovely Top
I love this top. It looks flattering and it's very soft. The shirt has a longer length, which ensures that the top doesn't ride up. I sized up after reading reviews that the fit is tight.

Way too small
I am a petite female, 5'1" & 100 lbs. Buying an xs is not usually a problem for me. However, this shirt was way too tight while the length & sleeves were too long. I considered sizing up, but the length would have been a problem. If not for the bad fit, the fabric was extremely soft & the style was cute overall.

Very comfy
I read the reviews online before purchasing this shirt. I was torn between the medium and the large, but I ended up ordering the large. I am 5'8, 145 pounds and I have long arms. The large is actually a bit baggy on me, but the sleeves are perfect for my extra long arms. I decided to keep the large because the sleeves fit so well, and the shirt looks fine a bit baggy. The materieal is so soft and very comfortable. I would recommend this shirt to anyone interested in a well made, cozy shirt that can be used for working out or hanging out.

Attractive styling, comfortable to wear
I bought the Air/Espresso L/S tee as a cover-up before/after yoga class. Really love the color combination and it fits comfortably, although the styling is fairly slim-fitting (probably wouldn't want to wear this after having a full meal). Also, the torso on this top is long, so as someone who's petite (5'1", 111 lbs), I have to fold this over towards the bottom so that it hangs properly, but it's not really a big deal. Can't speak yet to the durability since I just got this, but it seems to be well-sewn with quality fabric.

comfy, cozy shirt
This looked cute in the picture so I decided to give it a try. I like to be very warm in the winter and this had a layered look. I am only 5'2 and this is a long shirt, covered my butt completely. It might be too long for some people but I love it. It has great thumb holes on the black underlayer and your hands stay warm. The strings in the front really make it look like 2 shirts. It was made well too. It is a tight fitting shirt but not too tight where you can't wear another shirt underneath.

Soft and Comfortable
I love this shirt. It is a bit long, so it doesn't ride up when you sit down, but not too long that you look like you are wearing tunic. The material wears really well through multiple washings. I get alot of compliments on how this shirt looks.

Attractive snuggly shirt
I was very excited about this shirt, and it lived up to my expectations. Very soft, love the thumbholes (and the fact that they can mostly be hidden by the outer layer if I don't want to use them). I'm 5'7'', 135 lbs., 34C, and the medium fits perfectly. It's a great comfy shirt that also looks great. Though I can't really comment on the longevity, since I haven't had it very long yet, it does feel well made with good material. Happily satisfied!

Tight action top
This is a very close fitting action top. Almost like neoprene in its feel, it has an inner liner for the top. Its really long which is great as it covers your butt the sleeves are very long which keeps hands warm.

Butter Button-Up Update!
Okay, I previously wrote a review stating this runs smaller @ waist/hips than the other MH shirts I have in the same size(could be because it's much longer). My measurements by the MH size chart state that I'm on the higher end of a small(34.5/27/37), but the small was more body hugging than last season's(fall 2010) butter topper, but I was worried that sizing up to a med would be too big. Well, since then, I've bought it in a med, and it's perfect. This wasn't baggy at all -still a tailored/slim look and fit w/out being skin tight on the lower half like the small was(med looked more like the fit on the model pic). If you're on the smaller side of the size, then you're probably fine to stick with your usual size. Anyone on the higher end of each size can order up without worry of it being too big. Hope this helps!

Looking Good Working Out
I've worn this for exercizing outdoors and for running errands. It is form-fitting but very comfortable and wicks away moisture well. It also makes me look more fit than I actually am! The style is unique so you won't see yourself coming and going. While it is sporty-looking, it is appropriate for casual wear. It also would be good for travel. I was so anxious to wear this after it arrived that I washed out out in the sink, used a towel to get out the moisture and air-dried it. It was ready to wear in a couple of hours.

super comfortable shirt
I love the soft feel of this shirt and it's stylish. I bought 3 and have had a great experience dealing with Altrec. I would usually take a size small (6/8)but if don't want a very snug fit than buy one size larger.

Super Soft
The material for this butter button up is amazing- like nothing I've felt before! I absolutely LOVE the thumbhole option to keep my hands warm. The style of this shirt is fabulous! That being said, this does run smaller than other MH shirts I have. It even runs a smidge smaller @ waist/hips than the other butter shirts I have(topper & zippity)-all in the same size. It could be because it's much longer & I have a bubble butt, though. And it might be fine for those who want this shirt to be close fitting(basically next to skin tight), but this shirt claims to be SEMI-fitted, which for me it was definately not. I love my shirts to be tailored and close fitting, but not hugging my belly(I did have twin daughters a few yrs ago) I'm 5'7" 125 lbs & measure 35/27/37 -by MH size chart, I'm a small/6, so it may also fit ok for a small/4. I do intend on trying a med, but the small fits perfectly on top so we'll see if the med's too big! I'll let you know...

All the reviews are true. My favorite thing about this top is that it is very stretchy and extra long. The green color is a little darker in person, but still gorgeous. I'd definitely recommend it.

Love this fabric

I LOVE THIS TOP

Glad I got this!
I bought this late last spring and finally wore it for the first time yesterday. This is one of the most comfy and warm tops ever. I know I'll get a lot of good out of it for a long time. It has a nice long tail to tuck in or wear over the tops of jeans without the worry of exposing the tummy on a cold day. It covers you up yet still has a flattering fit.

I love these tees...
I got one of these tees last year and love wearing it. It is comfortable (Butter is the perfect name) the weight is just right and it doesn't look like any other tee out there. The thumb holes really do serve a purpose, especially when it gets unexpectedly cold and I don't have any gloves. I was really happy to be able to buy two more this year.

Great Style, Comfortable
I've only worn this once... I love the lightweight stretchy fabric and style. Was disappointed that I couldn't get my first choice of color combo (apparently everyone's favorite in a medium); but my second choice, black/gray, is a great classic combo. I agree with one reviewer that the sleeves are long and I'm 5'8" with average arms, but the fabric is clingy and if you push up the sleeves they stay pretty much wherever you place them.

I love these tops!
I love mountain hardwear in general because they have sleeves that are long enough (I am tall) and the sizing is appropriate. These tops are super soft....I like them so much I have 4. They wash and wear and wear....and still look great!

I Love It, wonderful feeling fabric!
I recently purchased the skort and tank that were in the same color scheme from Mtn. Hardwear, so I wanted the long sleeve tops to. They fit wonderfully, the fabric is very soft and the thumb holes on the sleeve work great when riding my motorcycle. The sleeve won't ride up.

Fun Top
The Colors are Great. Top fits true to size. Does tend to run Long and Long arms. Very flattering fit. I have yet to wash it so not sure how it holds up. Great quality from what I can tell.

Great looking shirt; tight fit
Nice looking top. Fit is pretty tight. If you have a really narrow frame, this will fit well. If you have larger hips, it will be really clingy at the bottom.
