Super soft and warm
I bought one of these shirts for my boyfriend who loved it, so when it went on sale I got one for myself. I ordered a size XS and was worried it could be too tight, but it is perfect and not too short. The sizing is right on. The shirt is soft and warm, I haven't used it yet in winter but I like to throw it on when hiking if it gets a little cold and windy. Good quality and the color I bought (red) is nice.

Mens-then womens
I had purchased the men's version of this shirt for myself.I used it as a baselayer and outerlayer.It is a very comfortable shirt and feels great next to skin.Great shirt to just wear around the house on a cold winters night.
I then bought the womens version for my wife-she loves it.As I previously said the next to skin feel is unlike any other base layer you've previously had.
It' a great all around shirt.

Mountain Hardwear Butter Zippity
I've had two other butter zippity shirts and really wanted it in this blue. Unfortunately they have redesigned it and now the medium is WAY TOO big, too long, and no longer a flattering fit. I would not order another one and will be searching for the old discontinued shirts (with no pocket) instead.
Quality is definitely still there, the fit just is subpar.

Just got this top--great purchase! Very warm, LOVE the super soft fabric, and the thumb holes are a great feature. I really liked the fit also. I'm a 4/small in just about everything, and while this top (in a small) was fitted enough to be warm and cozy, it wasn't skin tight, and I didn't feel compressed like a sausage. Can't comment on how it wears since I just got it, but it's already one of my favorite outdoor shirts!

lovely shirt
This is a lovely shirt for a first layer or only layer. Fits snug--true to size--good for an underlayer, love the zip and the thumbholes. Very warm. I have bought a second one and am totally happy with this shirt.

best base layer ever!
This is the softest, warmest base layer ever! The material is amazing (no wonder they call it buttery!) and the cut is great. I'm so tired of purchasing gear that is too short in the waist because then it rides up and you feel a draft up your back. Not only is this a snug and sleek fit, but it's also long enough that it won't ride up. The sleeves are nice and long too with awesome monkey thumbs, and the fabric dries quickly when you wash it. I live in a house with no heat and this is perfect for taking the chill off in the morning. I can't wait to get another one! If they were less expensive I know I'd own several.

I love this top! I ordered pansy and it is very pretty, so feminine. The fit is great. I ordered a medium , the size I usually wear. It is the second butter MH top I own.

Stylish, Soft, and Functional
This is the second Butter Zippity I've purchased, because I used the first one so often I decided I should add another color. Super functional layering piece great for a spectrum of temperatures and activities.

This is a great shirt!
I have ordered two of these shirts - and I'm going to get a third. They are fantastic: they are warm but not bulky, and nicely fitted so they look trim. Very soft and warm, too!

Great Baselayer!
The PERFECT baselayer, super soft, warm, true fit...The color is hot and it's shape is super flattering while the shirt is functional. A practical and fun basic!

Nice baselayer, great color, good fit.
I've worn the shirt every week since I received it as my baselayer on cross country ski trips. I love the green color and the thumb holes. It fits snugly, so does well as a base layer, trapping warm air next to my skin and wicking sweat well. I particularly like the zip neck and the fact that it fits. It's hard to find things that really do fit an extra small person!
