I loved this jacket, but had to send it back because it was too small and the color wasn't what I expected. But other than that it was great! Very warm, soft, comfy, and light weight. I would order a new one in a heart beat if only they had my size in stock! I recommend buying it.

I had the subzero Mtn. Hardware for 4 years prior. I lost it last spring, after it was well used and abused. The downtown jacket is better! I've also worn Marmot, N. Face and other brands of down jackets...
I was skeptical when I ordered the downtown, but this is the best down jacket I've ever owned or worn. Mountain Hardware is the creme de la creme for outdoor jackets regarding practicality, comfortableness, fit, performance and price. Your search is over... do yourself a good service for the winter and buy this jacket!

It's great quality, comfortable and has style. True to size, my medium fits just about perfect (sleeves could be a tiny bit longer - personal preference though). The fleece lining and pockets makes it even more comfy. Very pleased with my purchase.

I'm 5'8" and 125lbs. I usually wear and XS-S and got the jacket in XS. It fits perfectly. The sleeves could be an inch longer, but I think its probably just because the puffiness of the jacket makes them ride up a bit at the shoulders. If I tighten the velcro around my wrists, they fit just fine.
The fleece lining makes the jacket even more cozy-warm. Perfect alone for a chilly day, or with layers underneath when the temperature drops below freezing.
It isn't the most form-fitting jacket, but for a down, its one of the least-michelin-man ones I've seen yet.
Overall, its a great price for an excellent jacket.
(I bought the jacket in bronze, despite my initial concern that it might show up as a vomit brown/green/gold. I'm very pleased with the color. The picture above shows the color accurately).

Bought this jacket for my 13 yrs. old teen. She loves it! It's very stylish and totally warm in the cold weather (mid-30's). Lots of cool pockets. Medium fit was generous (wide) in the waist area.

Cannot beat the quality and durability of Mountain Hardware. Jacket is light weight and packable, interior lining is so soft and warms quickly. Fit is great and not super puffy. Only negative is the inside pocket needs a zipper pull to get at stuff quickly while wearing gloves.

I shopped forever for the perfect down jacket, this one is it!
This jacket fits a woman very nicely, doesn't make you look like a marshmallow :) Is very warm and perfect for errands or long walks in the woods/beach during winter. I love the fleece interior around the collar, is soft against the skin.

This is the most feminine down jacket I have ever owned. It weighs absolutely nothing and packs very small for travel. It is very slimming. What I like most about it is that I have yet to see anyone else wear it. It's the little details of this jacket that make it great; from the trimming on the zipper, to the "extra" little pocket inside the right hand pocket, to the really fun interior lining!! It is not a real extreme cold weather jacket, but its great for the milder winter days. I LOVE IT

runs small. I bought the xs for my 10 yr old she is 4'5" 65lbs and the s for my 13yr old 5'1" 80 lbs fits them with a little room to grow the xs would have been too small for my older daughter. the Ice fall color is pretty much true to color but a little lighter.

This is a great jacket with super fuzzy fleece lining and stylish looks. It is warm without being overly puffy. It is too heavy for the backcountry though, I have been using it around town. Great for going out to dinner after a chilly day of ice climbing or wear it to work during a snowstorm.

I bought this jacket just to wear to the gym because of its sporty look, but I find I want to wear it all the time. It's so warm and cozy I don't want to take it off. It's a little puffy, but it doesn't make me look huge. The outer fabric is soft and silky, inside is plush. I am 5'5" average build and it fits perfectly. I got it in blue and I love the color.

I bought this for my wife last spring and she wears it every chance she gets. Looks great on her. Keeps her warm on the coldest winter day. Construction is excellent and I have yet to see a feather come out of it which is more than I can say for my North Face vest. An impressive value.

The jacket is amazing! The fit is perfect - I'm a plus-sized, short girl and ordered the XL. It fits great - but I'll have no use for the bottom drawstring (LOL). I love the Micro-Chamois lining the upper part - it feels AMAZING and I bet it's going to feel REALLY good when the weather gets below zero here in NJ. ...Now I'll be able to go outside with my boys and play in the snow without getting cold. ;)

I bought this jacket for my mother that lives in Idaho. She loved it. It is very warm without the bulky look of normal down jackets. The super soft fabric around the collar is wonderful. It provides a nice color contrast.I like it so much I might have to buy one for myself.

The Jacket weighs nothing and fits nicely into the little travel bag included. I like the little pocket inside the right hand pocket! It has teddy bear soft interior lining!! It is not a cold weather jacket, but its wonderful for the mild winter days.

I think this is a very warm and comfortable jacket. The style of down jacket is nice and it has a nice fit. The only problem I have with it, is that the sleeves of the coat are a little big in diameter. Although the jackets(front and back) are not bulky the sleeves are.
