Be careful about fit

First, let me say that this is a beautifully made jacket and very flattering. However, it's constructed to fit a very specific body type - women with narrow shoulders and quite long, slender arms. If your shoulders are average or larger, or if you have something more going on than spaghetti arms, this jacket won't fit you. I ordered a size large based on similar comments from previous reviewers, thinking that might give me enough shoulder room. Nope. There was ample room in the hips and waist, but the shoulders and upper arms were tight enough that I'd never get another layer under there and would risk the integrity of the seams every time I moved. And the sleeves were very, very long. I'm going to be sending it back, and it's a bummer because it truly is a lovely jacket. It'd be nice to have one that actually lets me look like a woman rather than a box. I'm sure there's one out there, but for me it won't be this one.
Pros: nice features, very flatteringAmazing Jacket

I bought this jacket for my GF after having one myself. The new DryQElite is amazing- It breathes better than any jacket I own. Since having this jacket I have not had to use any other jacket for rain or snow or anything in between. Its just that good. We are in Colorado so its been used so far in the mountains in snow, and rain. And around town on our bikes at the airport etc. its awesome. Order a size up- she is 5'7, 115 lbs , athletic -and the small is just too tight in the shoulders- it looks amazing but the medium fits better and allows her to layer with it. Still a very flattering / fitted jacket too.

I absolutely love the Dry. Q fabric. It is incredibly breathable and lightweight. This particular jacket has nice stretchy panels under the arms. The fit is a little bit tricky though. The body is nice and flattering, well fitting. The sleeves are long, but the fit in the arm pits is tight. I am 5"4" 110 and I can fit a thin base layer under the jacket and that is it. If I sized up to a medium to get more room in the armpits, the jacket become WAY to big. The hood is nice and large. I wear this jacket ice climbing, so the long sleeves and stretchy side panels are perfect!
Pros: lightweight, breathable, flattering fit, long sleevesGreat

This investment was definitely worth it. So far have mostly been wearing it in 40 degree weather over a thin baselayer. My baselayer is still wet after a good workout, but nowhere near what it would be with my old rainjacket (not an elite fabric). I appreciate the large hood and the useful pockets. Overall, love it and am looking forward to more use in the mountains. Sizing: I am 5'4", 115 lbs. Small fits great, I tried a medium and it was way too big. The cut is very flattering as well.
