Warm jacket , light weight, very attractive
I really like this jacket. It is very light weight while still being warm. The design is attractive. I'm pleased with my purchase. I wear small/medium tops and purchased this jacket in a medium. The fit is just right (although sleeves are a bit long). If you are unsure if you are a small or medium I would suggest going with the larger size.

Stylish and warm
It came today and I am very pleased. This is a stylish and warm jacket. My husband and I love MH. The XS size fits me best, excellent for short women. You will never go wrong with MH.

Gorgeous, warm, lightweight, compact...what else do you want?
This jacket fit me perfectly (I'm an athletic size 4/6 with narrow waist & hips, 5'7") in the Medium & hits 3" below the hip bone. Love that it's reversible for times when I dont want to be so bold with the red, but...love the red color & embroidered stitching. Love the warmth factor without the bulk of down. Love the absence of a hood, too, since I prefer a cap when it's actually cold enough in Atlanta. Perfect layering jacket for cold backpacking trips (placed between thermal undershirt, thermal top, and the outer weatherproof layer). I also have a MH rain jacket that I've absolutely loved for years...their clothing products are wonderful.

Very pleased with jacket
Big fan of Mountain Hardware products. Purchased Flip Jacket for standalone use and to layer. Bit bulkier than thought, but am pleased with coat overall and have tried it under shell for skiing and works just fine. Wanted compressibility of coat and fact that should it get damp it would still retain its insulating qualities (vs. down). Stylish, too, oh and reversible, like two coats in one. Very happy with purchase. Always pleased with great service from Altrec.

this is a great jacket and you get 2 styles in one! it is a bit snug at the hips though, i'm a medium but had to order a large. otherwise its a cute coat!

Cute technical jacket that can match your outfit
I bought this on Altrec a few months ago and it's been my favorite jacket for temperature that's just above freezing. Not as warm as a down jacket, but it's also not as puffy as most downs are. I love that it's reversible and lightweight. I own quite a few Mountain Hardwear article of clothing and this jacket, like most of their items, runs a tad small.

A great jacket
Contrary to what's above, Mountain Hardwear has it's own sizing system. They assign roughly 2 sizes to everyone elses one size. An XS is 2 and 4, S is 6 and 8, and so on. I think it's great...more sizes available equals a better fit. I got this jacket for weather that wouldn't be great for down (ie. cold and maybe wet) and it has been bomber so far. Mountain Hardwear has some wonderful products out there, take advantage of them!

It is a great jacket light weight but very warm

This jacket rocks!
Not only is this the cutest jacket on the slopes, but it's functional too! It's so well made - fits close to the body, not bulky, but very warm. I hardly need to layer at all. Great zippered pockets that don't catch on the pretty but durable fabric. Best of all, it's reversible!

Second time's the charm...
This is a great jacket... but what else would you expect from MH! The jacket is comfortable and the reversibility is a huge plus (and a lot of fun). The fabric is so soft, color is great (I have the Helio/Shark), and seems durable enough to use as described. Its definitely lightweight and easily packable. I recently wore it on a walk in the Adirondack woods in late December with temps in the mid-20's and a fleece underneath... and had to unzip because I was too warm! One caution... be careful with the sizing. I'm normally a size 8, medium but in MH usually size up because of their "fitted cut". After reading the Fit Tip and the reviews on Altrec I decided to order the large. You can imagine how surprised I was when it arrived and I was swimming in it! I returned it, ordered the medium, and am very satisfied with the jacket. I lost about $30 (the sale I originally purchased it on was over), had to pay return shipping, and I lost out on the Lilac color (it was no longer in stock)... but this jacket was definitely worth it. I can't wait to try it out on the slopes!!

hope it's warm enough
The jacket is cut nicely, especially the stretchy side panels. It seems to run a bit small. I usually wear a 2or 4 and ended up with a 6, which is still pretty snug, especially if with layers underneath. I tried to wear this jacket yesterday in Chicago in 29 degree weather, but had to change to my old down coat half way through the day because I was freezing. I don't know, it's cute, but I may return it.

cute but way too short
I'm tall and used to things being a little short on me, but this jacket was ridiculously short. I first ordered the medium, but the arms were far too roomy and long even for my long arms. I returned it for the small, hoping I'd come around to the length, but no luck - after wearing it around for a couple hours it was riding up and just looked silly. It's too bad because it's really cute and warm - if you're petite it might be fine for you, but if you're tall go for a different jacket.

Most of it was perfect, but........
When I opened the box, I loved this jacket. When I put it on it was perfect....very comfortable, beautiful color and construction, and gorgeous design. Then I tried to zip it and it wouldn't fit around my hips, which are a size 4-6. It was so beautiful I couldn't send it back so I gave it to my 11 year old granddaughter (70pounds) and the size 6 fit her perfectly.
