Ordered this jacket in Turquoise and it is beautiful. The sleeves are long on this jacket but I would rather it be that way then too short. Fit is great and the fleece is a thinner fleece then what I have worn before but it keeps me just as warm and is a lot easier for layering. I really, really like this jacket. Quality is really top.

Great Jacket

Bought this for my wife as she has been eyeing my Mtn Hardwear fleece for weeks now. Great light weight fleece. Great price on sale... might be a bit expensive at list price.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuenice midlayer jacket

It's what I was looking for, a nice, light but warm mid-layer jacket. The S fits well, I am 5'8", with a long torso, 34B, the arms have a perfect length on me. However, I don't like how the stitching ruffles up the fabric on the upper back/shoulders. Not bad enough to not like the jacket but not excellent.
Pros: Ease of useGlad I purchased!

I love the fit and rich blue color of this vest. I am sure it will get a lot of wear. Mountain Hardwear is always a favorite. I look forward to adventuring in my vest.
great top, runs large

Mountain hardwear sometimes can be inconsistent with sizing- on this, if you are between sizes, go down a size. I tried the XL (5'9", 190) and the shoulders were way too wide and it was overall very large. Went down to the L and I'm very happy with it. It is a nice medium weight fleece, very soft, and the sleeves are roomy enough to wear more than just a body hugging layer underneath. Sleeves were long enough for my orangutan arms (yay!). the pockets don't zip, but the openings are high enough and shaped so that things don't fall out. The zipper seems like it might not last as long as the top, though.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great valuenice fleece

This is a nice fleece; it is a little tailored, so it is flattering and not boxy.
Pros: Great design, Ease of useOutstanding!

Easy to recommend this outstanding jacket. I am a slim 5'7 125lbs and found the small was a great fit. I work outdoors and in the winter, having good gear is essential. As with all their products, the details (such as finishing on cuffs, pocket size and placement as well as interior zipper cover) are all scrupulously put together and make for a jacket that can be taken anywhere. Hands down outstanding--my next purchase will be a microfleece hoodie from them based on my experience.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, outstanding!nice fleece

basic, good quality, but runs on the large side--im 5'3, 105 lbs extra small too large with very long sleeves the color was not as subdued as I would have preferred an average base layer shaped, not boxy fit
Pros: Great value, Cons: color too brightSeptember 26, 2011

Things I love about this jacket: - it feels super soft, cozy, comfy and happy - it fits close to the body, keeping in warmth, yet doesn't overheat and doesn't "stick"--I hate clothing that sticks - it's sleek in design, which means you don't bulk up really quickly in adding layers - the blue jacket is vibrant, the color is "happy" :) and I get many compliments on it Other details: - the arms are long but not too long. I could theoretically "cuff" them up one roll, but when I wear them with another layer, I don't really need to. Alone, I might but I might also keep them longer and cozier. - the neck/throat line is warm and not too tight yet also not too loose. I can't stand either extreme. - to give a sense of its warmth: I wear a normal cotton shirt, this jacket and then one other high-performance fleece jacket, plus my neckwarmer, and I'm good to go in weather from 20 degrees through the 30s, not counting windchill. (Well, and a hat, and jeans, boots, etc). For Cappadocia and similar high wind deep winter climates, I'd add one more shell on top. - I can't speak to how long the jacket lasts as I bought it only a few weeks ago, just in time for our most recent snowstorm. The only drawback is no-one believes something that looks so cute and light is really such a strong base layer. More people need to discover Mountain Hardwear!
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of useAnother winner from Mountain Hardwear

I love this jacket - perfect for outdoor walking in cool spring weather when you don't want to be too weighted down but need a light fleece for warmth. The kiwi color is a beautiful lime. The sleeves seem rather long to me - I do have short arms, but these are longer than most things I buy. Long-armed ladies have no fear with this one.
