Lightweight Fleece
April 25, 2012
This is my 1st mountain hardwear fleece. I have several tops that I find true to size. I am 5' 10" 135lbs I wear a med. i am larger chested with a small frame just long. I found this fleece runs a bit tight in the chest. It runs a bit shorter than most mountain hardwear tops.. If you are larger busted then I do recommend going up a size. I have worn several times and laundered several times, it shows no sign of wear. I highly recommend.
Great fleece!

I love this fleece. Fits true to size and I've been using it to ski in Colorado and to hang around the house. Perfect for either function. I will get a few more for the winter ahead.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueOrder a size up! Runs small.

I bought two of these shirts at the same time -- one of last year's version -- on sale -- and this one, which is this year's version. I ordered size XS in both. The one from last year fit great, and I kept it. This one was tiny. I could barely even get it on, and it certainly was not flattering once it was on. I always wear XS (I'm 5"1', 105 lbs) but I'll be exchanging this for a S and I hope that will fit! The fleece is comfortable and the style is cute -- I recommend this top, just order one size larger than normal.
So different from last year...

I love this brand, but, I had to return this. It runs very small, The fabric is not as nice, and the thread used made the seams scratchy and uncomfortable. I wish there were more of last year's model, of which I have 2, and they are so great. Why did they make these changes? Please, Mountain Hardwear, go back to how they were before for next year, so I can buy in several colors.
Pros: Build quality, Ease of useWarm, lightweight fleece layer

This is a great layering piece! I actually bought 2 because I love the colors so much. They are very lightweight, yet warm & will be perfect for starting out on an early morning hike , bike or run, then peeling off as the day warms up. They actually look and fit well enough that I plan to wear them around town as well. The only reason I gave "durability" 4 stars instead of 5 is that I haven't washed them yet. I've found Mtn Hardwear clothing to be very high quality, though, so I'm not worried.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
