warm, lightweight, nice construction
January 02, 2013

After returning another fleece with a very short zipper, I ended up buying this one in two different colors. They are wam and light weight, and the neck zip is long enough to make a difference when you want to cool off a bit without taking the fleece off, or to show a pretty contrasting shirt underneath. I'm 5'1" and 110, and the small fit perfectly.

So different from last year...
November 12, 2011

I love this brand, but, I had to return this. It runs very small, The fabric is not as nice, and the thread used made the seams scratchy and uncomfortable. I wish there were more of last year's model, of which I have 2, and they are so great. Why did they make these changes? Please, Mountain Hardwear, go back to how they were before for next year, so I can buy in several colors.

Excellent lightweight fleece
February 08, 2013

This fleece is true to Mountain Hardwear size. It fits perfectly as a mid-layer or over a t or a next to skin/ base layer. I have not needed it's wicking features, but it has kept me warm this winter. It holds up well after initial washes. I got the black and it still looks like new after being worn all season. This quickly became my go to mid layer. I love the feminine siluette, it highlights curves without being too tight. I can put on a heavy coat over it and i'm ready to go out, when i am indoors i just shed the coats and it is perfect. I can't say enough good things about it.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance

Lightweight Fleece
April 25, 2012

This is my 1st mountain hardwear fleece. I have several tops that I find true to size. I am 5' 10" 135lbs I wear a med. i am larger chested with a small frame just long. I found this fleece runs a bit tight in the chest. It runs a bit shorter than most mountain hardwear tops.. If you are larger busted then I do recommend going up a size. I have worn several times and laundered several times, it shows no sign of wear. I highly recommend.

Great fleece!
December 21, 2011

I love this fleece. Fits true to size and I've been using it to ski in Colorado and to hang around the house. Perfect for either function. I will get a few more for the winter ahead.

Order a size up! Runs small.
November 14, 2011

I bought two of these shirts at the same time -- one of last year's version -- on sale -- and this one, which is this year's version. I ordered size XS in both. The one from last year fit great, and I kept it. This one was tiny. I could barely even get it on, and it certainly was not flattering once it was on. I always wear XS (I'm 5"1', 105 lbs) but I'll be exchanging this for a S and I hope that will fit! The fleece is comfortable and the style is cute -- I recommend this top, just order one size larger than normal.

Warm, lightweight fleece layer
October 18, 2011

This is a great layering piece! I actually bought 2 because I love the colors so much. They are very lightweight, yet warm & will be perfect for starting out on an early morning hike , bike or run, then peeling off as the day warms up. They actually look and fit well enough that I plan to wear them around town as well. The only reason I gave "durability" 4 stars instead of 5 is that I haven't washed them yet. I've found Mtn Hardwear clothing to be very high quality, though, so I'm not worried.

Ii am 5'9" 125 lbs. I purchased a small. The fit size wise was perfect. However it was about 2" too short and the bottom flares out so far that the cold air goes right up the front.

Pros: Build quality, Cons: Bad design
