This is a great hat. Truly hides the sun and super cute as well. I did not find it too big as others but I do have thick hair. I am ordering an additional hat as a gift for a friend.

Bought this hat for a trip to Mexico. It's packable, durable and it great in the sun. It fits very well and still has room to have your hair in a pony tail. It's very flattering with a sun dress or shorts. I'd recommend this to anyone going on a trip in the sun.

too big for me

this is a lovely hat. would have loved to keep it. i do have a small head and have to be more careful than most when purchasing hats. this was really large for me and would have easily flown off.

I purchased the regular and it fit perfectly even thought I have quite a bit of hair thick curly hair. Its a very comfy fitting, cute hat that still serves the purpose of keeping sun off your face. An essential for a sunny vacation or summer at the lake

i need to wear a hat pretty much all the time, indoors and out, as i've got a serious neurological condition that makes me super light-sensitive as well as sensitive to movement in the periphery of my vision. if i could function with blinders on, like racehorses wear, i'd do that :) but it's not legal to drive that way, i'm sure. i need wide-brim hats but not too wide or i end up with too many blind spots. this hat is perfect because it's large and floppy, but the brim isn't huge. it seems strong and durable, though i've only had it a couple days so far. i always buy size large hats. sure, they might fly off my head but i'd go crazy with a headache if a hat were actually form-fitting on my head; that's what chin-straps are for. i'll be used to holding this hat down in strong breezes. and i can put my hair up under it!

Nice hat

I bought this hat to take on vacation, it traveled well. I continued to use it for the pool & lake throughout the summer. It does run a bit large which works if you have your hair pulled up, there's room for clips.
