good overall pant
October 19, 2012

Bought these pants for ski/boarding in Montana, Idaho and AK. Very warm , but no venting. At peak they work great but at base very warm and went through several attempts of prediction where/when to wear. The overall function was great but if using with any high energy be aware of the sweat chill factor.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value, Cons: Low performance

The right choice.
October 22, 2012

The pants are nicely insulated and keep you warm. They are not too baggy or get in the way like some insulated pants. Sizing was accurate as long as you take the time to measure yourself. Fleece lined pockets and waist line are warm and comfortable. Ankle guards keep the pants from getting beat up.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance

A very nice basic snow pant
April 09, 2012

I've been very happy with these pants, but I also admit that they weren't exactly what I was expecting. They are a very basic snow pant. The cuffs are elastic and do not have a zipper or snap to get around snowboarding / ski boots. There are two basic pockets on the waste, which fits relatively tightly (although comfortably) so there isn't a lot of room to stow stuff. This winter has been pretty mild so I haven't had a chance to really test them, but so far they have been very warm, comfortable, and I'm dry at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend these pants, but if your looking for something a bit more technical, and stylish you'll surely be disappointed.

Great Snow Pants
March 12, 2012

The pants are truly waterproof. I sat in powder for 15 minutes to test the quality, and there was no seepage. They are a bit baggy and very long. I am 5' 1" and 110 lbs. I bought the Small, and they are pretty big. I am going to get them altered since the pricing was great on Altrec. They are not the cutest pants, but I have cute snow pants, and they failed on a wet, snowy day. So, these will be my new go-to pants on tough weather days!

Pros: Lasts forever, Performance, Great value
