I loved this! The color is beautiful and really kept me warm on the slopes with 20 degree and winds up to 30 mi. I got a complement on the color and design. Really worked!

This jacket is perfect. It is super soft and has a great cut to fit me perfectly. It keeps me nice and warm, even on my recient Alaska Cruise. I would like to get the same jacket for both my daughters.

I love my mountain hardware monkey fur, so I thought I would give this sable a try. The fleece is the softest ever!! I have not noticed any of the "crunchiness" described by others. I got caught in a light rain the first time I wore it, and the conduit layer protected from the rain, which I did not expect. The problem areas for me are the sleeve and torso length being to short , but both are plenty long on this jacket. ( I am 5'6" and 105 lbs) I would recommend to anyone for a midweight jacket. I will be ordering a few for gifts.

I read that the jacket was a little "krinkly" and it is. I have washed it a few times and hope that goes away with time -- not extreme or anything. Other than that, the jacket is warm and windproof. I got a medium which is what I usually get, and it seems a tad bit larger than an medium usually does for me.

Finally Mountain Hardware made their sleeves long enough for active wear! Although the jacket is a bit crinkly, it is super warm with a great fit. Great alone or layered.

I got this for my girlfriend for her birthday. Definitely the softest fleece I have ever felt and it is also incredibly warm, windproof and waterproof. Sure it is a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. The only cons are the sleeves are pretty tapered and not very loose, also for the first week or two the laminate is stiff but after some decent wear it loosens up. Overall a great jacket!

I ordered this jacket thinking it would be super comfortable and soft, but I really did not like the laminate. It felt crinkly and stiff. The cuffs could use some work, they were far too large for my arms, and it would defeat the purpose of a wind stopping jacket if it is able to creep up the sleeve. Also, in general, I find that Mountain Hardwear product sizing could use a medium and a half. I ordered the large thinking I would need to choose the larger size to layer, since this is my typical experience with their products. This jacket was large in the chest, and the sleeves were too long for me (which is unusual), but was tighter near the hips. I don't think a medium would have worked, but the large was too large. It was not a jacket I could see myself in between the awkward fit and the crinkly, stiff feel of the material. It had to go back.

In my opinion, this jacket is similar to the Mt Hardwear Mynx Jacket in that it is soft, warm, and windproof. It is soft and warm inside and out, has a nice design pattern on the sides of the jacket as well. I can wear a light to mid weight layer underneath the sable jacket and be warm when the temp is 30 to 40F. I do not know if it will still be warm with any temp below 30F, as it has not been that cold yet where I live. However, I suspect it will be especially with a gore tex jacket over the sable jacket. The fit is more on the relaxed side. I usually wear a large in Mt Hardwear apparel and this fit me well. I can probably wear a mid weight shirt underneath and I would still have a comfortable fit, not too tight. It washes well. I didn't machine dry so, I can't tell you if it will shrink or not. The only CON: on the expensive side, but I had an Altrec promotion discount so, I was able to purchase the jacket at a more affordable price. Altrec rocks !!

I never write reviews, but this jacket inspires me. The fleece is unbelievably soft, it's windproof, warm, stretchy, comfortable, and REALLY FLATTERING. AND the berry soda color is perfect – fun but not neon pink.
