I just purchased these shorts and I'm happy I did, they are very comfortable and great fitting. I usually take a size 6 in Mountain Hardware and they fit fine. I am thinking of ordering another pair.

I really like the look of these shorts. Right now I'm in-between sizes and thought they were too big and I would have to return them however there is a cinch cord helps keep them a little more snug. Now I don't have to return them!

I garden for a living in the hot and humid northeast, and am now living in these shorts. The fabric has a wonderful hand, is incredibly breathable, and dries quickly. They are the most comfortable shorts I have ever worn, hands down. They are not too short, nor too long. The leg openings are wide enough to enable all sorts of movement. I really like the way the waist tightens, with an inconspicuous little toggle, for an individual fit, and there are plenty of pockets. I can wear size 12 in some brands, a 14 in others, and am usually a large, including in Mountain Hardwear clothing, since i dont want things to be too fitted. I own both 14's and 12's in these, and can wear either of them, but the 12's are a much better, more flattering fit. Despite the description, I do not find these to be low rise, but, rather just a sort of normal type of rise, not high in the waist nor low at the hip. I hope Mountain Hardwear makes these again next year!

Comfortable Shorts

Very comfortable shorts. I love the drawstring option in the waist, as my booty seems to be a size 10 and my waist is somewhere at an 8 or less. I will definitely get a lot of use out of these shorts this summer!
