Excellent outdoor jacket
It is my favorite outdoor jacket, lightweight, waterproof and windproof. The Goretex has the very good performance of waterproof and breathability. The details of the jacket is also reasonable, especially the hood and pockets. I bought the red one whose color is very bright. I have worn it some times in rain, and never got wet or felt cold.

Its performance is worth with its price. Thanks to its Gore-Tex materials, It completely protect me from wind and heavy rain. Moreover, it's much lighter then other hardshell. Of course, it's very breathable. I am very satisfied with it.

Wonderful Women's Typhoon Jacket
My wife loves everything about this jacket. It has been completely waterproof in torrential rains. She especially love the breathability built into the jacket. However, she is most pleased with staying dry. The Gore-Tex construction is very effective. This is a great buy and she loves the fit. She is a small size 4 to 6 and this fits her perfectly. We highly recommend this jacket.

Great Jacket
This is a great lightweight jacket and completely waterproof. The pockets are roomy and everything even in the pockets remains dry. I love the hood and reflective area at the cuffs. I've been in the wind and rain a few times already and I stayed dry and wasn't too warm or too cold.

Women's Typhoon Jacket
Overall I'm happy with the Typhoon Jacket. The quality and feel of the jacket is really good. The Pit Zips are a really good feature and I have them half open while I'm walking. The breathability of the Paclite is really good, much better than my old Gore- Tex, North Face Jacket.

fits true to size
After reading other reviews, I ordered a larger size than usual and it was too big, so am exchanging for my usual size. Other than that, love it. Lightweight, packable, cute rain jacket.

Excellent, Lightweight Rainjacket
Purchased for my daughter for college, she uses all the time, very waterproof, stops the winds, and fits layers nicely underneath. Fits true to size.

Perfect rain coat for lots of rain
I agree with other reviews this coat runs a little on the small side. I'm 5'2", 130 lb and the small fits fine but would not fit with a bulky sweater. Since moving to Japan (where it rains all the time and we're talking buckets of rain), I've tried many rain coats and this one so far is my favorite. I love the title "typhoon" ; I ordered this when we were in the middle of our last Typhoon a month ago.

love the jacket but runs small
The shell feels better than Gore Tex and love it being lightweight; however, you have to order a size larger than you wear as it tends to run small. Great for summer rainy weather.

Excellent Lightweight Shell
Have previously purchased and been happy with Mountain Hardware fleece jackets. This lightweight, breathable shell is high quality and works great to keep you dry in just about all types of weather.

super light rain shell
This Mountain Hardwear rain shell is super light which allows you to take it with you on all hikes and be prepared for any type of rain fall, from a drizzle to a heavy rain storm. If you are looking for an efficient rain shell with no frills, that is the right rain shell for you. I do recommend it. As any Mountain Hardwear gear, it is very well made and it looks quite stylish for that type of rain gear. I would recommend to size it up in order to feel truly comfortable with any warm fleece.

Works well in different temps
I wore this on a rainy day in the amazon rain forest. I never got too hot or too cold (it was winter and we were boating). Love it.

just what we needed, looks and works great
Used as shell on sailing trip, it pored down rain, thunderstorms and even hail - worked great. Have used hardware products for some time, very happy with them.

Good jacket, go up a size
Works well in what I used it for - 40-50 degrees F, drizzling all the way to legitimately raining moderately hard. Go up a size or two, I am pretty small and normally fitting loosely in XS. The jacket fits well with a fleece, but seems a bit on the short side. Wish I had gone up to s.
